Chapter 8: New Enviroment

L/n Y/n dropped herself into her seat tiredly, her thumb fiddling with the strap of her school bag half-heartedly. At 7:30 am on a Friday morning, L/n boarded the train to head to school, just as how she'd been living her past 2 weeks in Kagoshima up until now.

She pulled out her earphones from her bag and popped them in her ears, scrolling through the selection of songs through her phone. Then, purposefully choosing 'I Miss You' by Clean Bandit to match her emotions, L/n let out a sigh and stared in front of her blankly.

Her e/c eyes watched on as the last few passengers boarded the train, each taking a seat or hanging onto the train handles. The door closed with a firm clump, and with a jerk, the train began with a start.

L/n leaned back in her seat, head bopping ever so slightly as the chorus of the song rolled around.

Had it already been 2 weeks since she moved? She almost couldn't believe it, but judging by how torturous time had been for her alone - she decided it wasn't a nightmare.

No nightmare could be this horrible.

Her mind isn't that creative.

Bakugou and her had resulted to video calling and texting as a form of communication, but nonetheless to say, she still missed him. Gone were the days of walking home together, hanging out during weekends and goofing off at the park.

She turned to look outside the window of the moving train; the scenery fleeted past them, blurs of green and white greeted her dull eyes. I'm now emo, she'd decided a few days back.

Bakugou didn't have too much free time on his hands either. He'd been accepted into UA, as expected. He was constantly busy with hero training as well as his studies.

L/n was saddened by the thought. He was on the firm path to his bright future, and what about her? She wanted to be either a photographer or reporter when she was younger.

She was adamant about the decision, except her emotions had brought down her motivation. She couldn't remember the last time she took a picture in the last two weeks she was here.

Bakugou, she realized, was the source of her motivation and inspiration. She stiffled a sniff. She missed him.

The train then came to a stop, she glanced at the words rolling into view on the tiny screen above them: 誠英高校.

This was her stop.

Seiei High School, the school her parents had enrolled her into. You'd expect her to have made some friends at school because of her bright personality, but the school's residents all know her as the quiet photographer who didn't like hanging with others.
