Not exactly what I expected my day would go. First, everything was fine. School was almost over, friends started making plans for the summer, teachers filing stuff I don't care what, just a typical year-end day.

After Math class, which is shittiest subject I've ever had though I'm good at it, the hallway was super crowded with students texting, chatting, even bullying. Seriously, bullying, with teachers roaming around and none of them even bothered to stop it. I guess what's going on in their minds are 'Eh, I can stop them next year' or maybe 'What do I care? Its summer! See you later, hags!' Well who gives a shit.

I squeezed through this mass wave of smelly people, hoping to get to my locker. Instead I was stopped by this huge black, muscular dude.

"How's a going, douche?"

"Fine Craig, you?"

"Better that ever. Hey listen, I'm sure gonna miss bullying you around. Your the best 'bully-ee' I've ever had. Its never gonna be the same without you."

I looked him in the eyes, anger radiated through my body. He's been bullying ever since I accidentally sprayed juice all over his pants in fourth grade. Because of embarrassment he swore to himself that he would 'return the favor.'

"Sure. It was always a pleasure being your best victim ever."

"Glad you understand. Well, have a nice summer, douche." He pushed me towards the lockers as he made his way and vanished into the sea of teens.

Glad thats's over. I would never want to see his face ever again. Anger engulfed me, I didn't even notice I was crushing a pencil until it snapped.

"Are you okay?"

I lost thoughts and stared at this girl, whose been my best friend since, well I don't really know actually.

"Besides getting pushed by Craig, oh yes Lisa. My day is like sliding from the top of a rainbow."

She laughed, making little short snorts whenever she breathes for another laugh. I've always find that cute, like a baby pig rolling in the mud.

"Well, cheer up Mark, at least you'll never see him again."

"I thank the Lord Almighty for that." I smile at her, and she smiled back.

"So, what's your plan this summer?" She asked while tiptoeing to match our height.

"I don't know. My parents said it would be a surprise. Even my brother and little sister don't know. You?"

"That's a shame, well since you asked, our family is going to where we always are whenever its summer."

It didn't take me too long to know.

"Its the beach isn't it?"

"How did you know?" She said sarcastically and laughed at it.

"The Almighty God has spoken to me and told me the answer." I raised my hands towards the air, like I'm receiving the Lord's gift. She laughed harder and snorted louder than before.

When she stopped, she asked "Walk or bus to home?"

"We've never tried walking before."

"Walk towards home it is." She gestured her hand to form a loop. I put mine inside and together we walked through the hallway, out the school and to the sidewalk.

Our house is not that far from our school, so does Lisa's since we're neighbors. When we said our goodbyes, I walked to our house a few blocks from her's. Our house is not that big but capable enough to accommodate a 5-membered family.

Inside, the first room would be the living room, complete with a LED tv, DVD player, a PS4 console, and a cabinet full of remotes, controllers, CDs and the like.

Nobody was home yet, Ray, my older brother, is probably hanging out with his girlfriend. My little sister, Jessie, is having playtime with her friends together with Mom, and Dad's at work. Basically, I have the whole house for myself.

Time to get my summer started. I got to the kitchen, grabbed the snacks I could find, return to the living room, switched on the tv and the PS4, and played NBA 2k15 until night comes.

This is the life.

Mom and Jessie came home first, and sobbing was heard once the door was closed.

"Jessie, don't worry. You'll make tons of new friends."

Jessie shouted, more like screeched "It won't be the same." Then slammed her bedroom door upstairs.

I paused my game and look at Mom.

I asked "Transferring her to a new school?"

"Sort of." Mom replied.

"What do you mean?"

Mom moved closer and sat beside the couch, not minding the mess I've made for the past 4 hours.

"Well, see Mark....... Your Dad, got an opportunity that could make our lives better."

"But he's a doctor? Did the hospital sold him?"

"No but a friend of his offered a job as a doctor in another hospital, ........ In the U.S. Specifically Florida."

"So what you're saying is that........ We're moving?!"

My life is terrible.
