Lost Hope.

Prologue:

"Is it on? Well is it?"

"Yes, Mel it's on!"

"Guys I don't think we should do this."

"It's not like I'm going to die Sam."

I should have never said that.

My name is Kat Rodriguez. I'm 5'4 and have long dark brown hair that are up to my shoulders. I also have tan skin and a slight swimmers body. My best friend Meli Gomez has the same body, but she has light brown hair longer then her shoulder with hazel eyes and lighter skin then mine. Sam Ruiz on the other hand, has almost pale skin with black short hair and green eyes.

This is what happened to me.

Every step seems longer. Meli's balcony wasn't that high. 6 or 7 feet maybe. Once I reached the top there is where I'll be jumping. One foot at a time I step onto the rail. It was thin and white. Turning my head to Meli and Sam.

"Are you getting this?"

"Yeah!" Yelled Meli with her video camera.

"Don't do it Kat! What happens if you get hurt? What if you die?" Yelled Sam with a scared tone of voice.

"Don't jinks it Sam. Calm down." I said.

My heart raced for a moment. My body was ready to jump until I slipped. Everything went so fast. One moment I was watching the beautiful baby blue sky. Then it was black.
