Central Perk, New York,  November 24 1995

Chandler: "So Joey, Joe, Joseph. When are we gonna meet this friend of yours?"

Joey: "I don't know, I think she should be in town soon. We always used to spend Thanksgiving together when we were young but then she moved to Sweden like what? I think a year ago to help her grandparents."

Monica: "Okay, but still do you know how long she will stay here?"

Rachel: "Yeah, I mean she can stay at our place if she doesn't want to spend it with two gross boys"

Phoebe: "Hey! She can stay at my place, you know I have an apartment to you know."

The blonde says as the rest of the group stares at her. The dark haired man named Joey looked at her with a look that practically yelled curiosity.

The brunette named Rachel didn't really listen to her, she just sat there in the sofa and stared at her boyfriend Ross a dark haired paleontologist.

Just as Joey was going to say something a brunette female came in through the doors of the coffeshop. She was looking for someone. Someone that she knew was going to be there. Not a date, not a relative, but someone special.

The group's faces shot up and looked at the woman. None of them had seen her there before, she must be new to town.

Chandler's eyes followed the womans every motion. From getting in to the coffeeshop to walking to the barista.

Woman: "Hey, do you know if Joey Tribbiani is here?"

The platinum blonde barista named Gunther looked her up and down. He tried to figure out what she wanted.

Gunther: "Yeah, he's sitting on the sofa right there"

The man pointed at the sofa next to the female. There sat a group of people, three females and three males.

She thanked him and walked over.

Woman: "Hey, Joseph what kind of stupid stuff have you been up to without me this past year?"

Joey looked up from his coffee to see the woman. She looked familiar somehow, but he couldn't set his finger on who she was, now he was actually staring at her.

Joey: "Oh my, Jessica! What are you doing here I didn't think you would come until after Christmas?"

He stood up and hugged the woman named Jessica. She was so happy to finally be able to hug him. And so was he.

The rest of the group looked at the woman, how her beautiful darkbrown hair was in a braid, her brown eyes, her grey hoodie and blue jeans.

Chandler: "So, you're the famous Jessica, Joe's always talking about"

The woman pulled back from the hug and looked at the man who spoke to her. She looked at him with a curious look.

Jessica: "Excuse me, has JoJo talked about me?

The girls giggled at the nickname, JoJo why didn't they think of that earlier. Chandler let out a loud laugh. Joseph and Jessica stared at him.

Chandler: "Yes JoJo is very proud of you for helping your grandparents. In fact he was talking about it before you came in through the doors"

Joey: "Hey! Only Jess is allowed to call me that ms Chanandler Bong"

Chandler glared at him as if the man he looked at was stupid, which he kind of was.

Monica: "So, Jessica. Do you know how long you're gonna spend here before you move back to Sweden?"

Monica asked trying to break the silence.

Jessica: "Well actually I'm not going back to Sweden until I don't even know when myself. I don't really have a reason to get back there anymore."

Joey looked at his now slightly teary-eyed friend and hugged her before she shed a tear. He knew that was her weak spot. Her family back in Sweden.

Chandler: "Hey Jessica, how about you and I go to mine and Joey's apartment to set you up?"

Jessica looked at him with tears in her eyes as Joey let go of their hug. She nodded slightly grabbing her suitcase.

Chandler insisted on taking the suitcase up to the apartment and held a hand on her back as they walked out of Central Perk and into the apartment building and the stairs.

ABOUT 30 MINUTES LATER

Chandler: "You any better now Jessica?"

She just put her suitcase in Chandler's room since he insisted on letting her have the room for a while. She gave him a sad smile and started walking towards him.

Jessica: "Yes, my friends call me Jessie, and thank you for letting me stay in your room. You really don't have to, if I know Joey well enough he probably still has weird sleeping habits."

Chandler laughed at her last comment. He watched as her body came closer to his and she wrapped her arms around him, like a hug. He hugged her back. They parted from the hug as Chandler spoke up.

Chandler: "Well Jessica -"

He started before Jessica cut him off.

Jessica: "I said my friends call me Jessie so why don't you call me that"

She said with a slight smile. Chandler saw the smile on her face and smiled back. He made a friend in less than an hour, that must be a new record.

As they just stood there smiling at each other, Joey came rushing through the door. He saw Jessica and ran to her sweeping her off her feet in a hug.

Joey: "You okay Jessie? I understand if it was to much Mon didn't mean any harm."

Jessica: "It's okay JoJo, I understand she didn't know and that's okay, I only just met her. But hey JoJo do you still have the same sleeping habits as when you were a kid?"

Joey looked stunned at the question the woman in front of him had asked. Chandler on the other hand was trying his hardest holding in a laughter behind Joey and his face became red from keeping it in.

Joey: "What? What do you mean? Sleepng habits?"

Jessica: "Oh nothing just you know the underwear thingy...?"

As mr. Joseph Tribbiani Jr was starting to understand his roommate and childhood bestfriend had already starded laughing their asses off.

Joey's face went one shade darker red than Chandler's earlier.

Joey: "Who told you that? You haven't told anyone right?"

Jessica: "No no no, and YOU are the one that told me, rember seven years ago at that party, you got drunk and told me something you said was the biggest secret in your life."

Joey looked stunned at the woman, his mouth wide open. Chandler went to close his mouth which was hilarious to Jessica.
