Underdogs: A Super Roleplay

The Backstory

The world was once protected by the Union of Supers, which was a group of the world's most famous and powerful superheroes. They amassed a huge fanbase as they made their own powers famous; Laser beam, Flight, Super Strength and Super Speed, And so on. Their powers were granted by a strange occurrence that happens in childbirth known as "The Wheel of Fate" as this phenomenon has yet to be identified or understood.

Why they called it "The Wheel of Fate" is because there have been others who have gotten superpowers as well. However, because of the Union's popularity, they're considered not as important and thus been ignored by the government and the fanbase. Luckily, the Union wasn't as ignorant and inputted each super-powered human on a list and ranked their powers on what they think would utilize them best. The list studied how they used their powers and considered its potential and their successful utilization. If a person managed to do better than expected, they'll go up a rank.

• D Tier (The lowest that would serve as recon and public service)
• C Tier (Can handle City-wide emergencies)
• B Tier (Can handle Nation-wide emergencies)
• A Tier (Can handle Worldwide emergencies)
• S Tier (The highest that can handle Universal emergencies)

One day, the Union was called onto a Universal mission to stop an emerging threat from causing chaos in their world. They traveled to the far reaches of the universe, only to lose connection.

The people hoped that the heroes would come back victorious, but this was not the case. Instead, the bodies of the beloved heroes fell down to earth, beaten and deceased. This caused great chaos and turmoil to the world and torn apart their fanbases.
In a last attempt to quell the public, Interpol announced that it will call to action all super-powered humans mentioned in the list to be put in action to take the places of these heroes.

This would be called the Underdog Project.
