[ most of the conversation in this chapter are spoken in malay and sunny's traditional language. but i will translate it straight away. ]

After 2 hours, we finally reached my hometown which is in Kota Marudu. But before heading straight to my grandparent's house, we stopped by at Pizza Hut fast-food restaurant to grab some boxes of pizza.

Grandma had already told us that she's inviting some of our family members to welcome me home since it has been a long time I came back to my hometown.

But dad said, "No. She did not invite some of our family members. She probably invited all the people in our village area to the house to eat." I laughed when dad told me that.

Grandma's circle is really big that everyone in the town knows who she is. That's how big her circle is.

But whatever it is, I am still glad.

Grandma's big circle means that she is an outgoing person which, she is really are. She is friends with everyone and a generous person despite sometimes, in a sarcastic way. Well, you know, Asian old women.

I still have my great-grandmother. But stays at home most of the time. My grandmother is just around 65 years old while my great-grandmother is around 80 years old.

But anyways, after getting about 20 boxes of large pizzas, we headed home and from afar, we could see cars parked outside the house and people going into the house area.

"See what I told you, Sunny?" Dad chuckled.

I laughed while holding my forehead.

"Mama will always invite the villagers when something is up. Especially when welcoming you home. You haven't come home for a very long time. Of course, she'll call up the villagers." Mom added.

"Do we have lamb slaughter?" Adrian asked as he drives slowly into the house area.

I can't say that the house is a mansion. The house is not so traditional yet not so modern. But still, a good place to stay in for the rest of your life. It's a home. House that you can stay in comfortably.

"Probably even cow or bull." Dad replied. I laughed in response.

"Wow, that would cost a fortune. But at least we have lamb chop, probably." I replied and chuckled.

"There, grandma and grandpa are already waiting for you, Sunny." Mom said, pointing outside the window. Both my grandparents and great-grandmother are standing together, waiting patiently.

"I'm not gonna bring my bag yet. I'll leave it here first, okay?" I said while Adrian was parking the car into the garage.

"Yeah, just put it here first." Mom said.

I just bring along my phone and slip it into the pocket at the back of my jeans. After Adrian parked the car, we opened the door to our Veldfire and I immediately head towards my grandparents and great-grandmother.

"Mama, papa!" I exclaimed as I run smally towards them.

"Sunny! You're home!" Grandma said before embracing me. I chuckled while hugging her.

"It's been so long," she said to me while hugging.

"I know. I'm sorry for not coming home for a long time. I'm sorry." I said to her.

"It's alright, baby. As long as you're home. Safe and healthy. You're so thin already." Grandma said as we break out hug. I chuckled and shook my head.

"I'm healthy. Don't worry." I grinned and shake her hands, kissing the back of her palm.
