Virus Outbreak

Hey! This is my first story inspired by "all of us are dead" on Netflix, don't mind the bad spelling or grammar

There was a virus in school, it started infecting people, it made them go crazy. I saw someone eat another... i went to A classroom..... I saw my teacher dead... I went to every classroom.. All my teachers were dead...I saw security in the hall sitting on a chair...he was dead..

I started going around class rooms finding weapons like scissors, i left the rooms to head to the main office, i saw someone eating another and ran to the lunch room, then i found others, they all had weapons and there was dead bodies everywhere around them they pointed their weapons' at me i dropped mine and put my hands up, I told them I wasn't infected, they didn't believe me, then someone yelled out "the infected cant talk!" 

everyone looked back and it was some dude in a hoodie, she took her hood off and it was my best friend, she goes to another school, why was she there? "how and why are you here" i asked her, she told me she was gonna get me out of school so we can skip and go shopping,

 a few minutes later everyone was just talking then we all heard screams, then foot steps...getting louder...and louder... and louder, people started grabbing the cafeteria tables and flipping them to act as a barrier, one person ran and jumped over the tables, we all backed up.. "Who are you" someone said, the kid stood up and said his name, another person in our group asked if he was infected, the kid hesitated then said "uh no" as he grabbed his arm, that's when I saw it, he was bit...

 i didn't know how the virus spreads but i saw a few movies that if they are bit then they turn, i was scared... " what's on your arm!" I yelled, he let go of his arm, "nothing!" he said as i told everyone to hold him down as they held him down i look at his arm, he was definitely bit.. as he was held down, He turned... i grabbed a metal pole and killed him...we went back and chilled by the wall.

it was night, dead silent.. I couldn't sleep.. I got up and hopped over the tables right as i was about to go thought the halls i felt someone grab my hand. It was my friend, she handed me a weapon and said " I will go with you". Minutes later we were in one of the High school class rooms when we heard a loud bang, we hid behind the door, so close together we could feel each others breath... it got cold.. Really cold... I noticed the vent system has been cut off, I was shaking.. My friend saw me and gave me the jacket around her waist.. I put my hand in the pocket to find something, i took it out, it was a polaroid of us, and on the back it read "my one and only" i smiled and got closer to her,

 we stopped hearing noises and ran back to the cafeteria, we stood in front of the table barricade showing our arms and legs to show we weren't bit, we heard a noise but didn't think much of it, then a dude ran and jumped over the first layer of tables, pushing me and my friend down, he was another survivor, he told us to get behind the tables, another was running towards him he turned around and killed the one but looked back at us and ran behind the tables. " THERES AND ARMY OF THEM GRAB YOUR WEAPONS AND PUSH MORE TABLES!!!" My friend grabbed my wrist and took me behind all the tables it was time for the final reach, everyone grabbed weapons like metal poles, guns from cops that were in the school and knifes and anything people can find, i saw a few drinking some energy drinks and eating food before it was time...

 They are here we get in position, biggest and strongest in front and the smaller and weaker ones in the back, it was finally time they flood in a hoard i didn't know what to do i panicked and stood there for a while and then my best friend shoved me a little, " i love you" she said and then smiled, that gave me a reason to keep going, we fought for hours, there was blood and bodies every where it was just me and my friend.

 there was one left and i just froze... it was my best friend, he had gotten infected, I couldn't believe it, i just stood there and started crying, but my other friend was shocked. he wasn't attacking us? What's wrong with him, he started talking, which was weird for the infected... the infected couldn't talk or not attack.. He started picking at his face, and peeling off the infected skin, he had his eye taped shut, so that the virus wouldn't get in his eye, he tore off infected skin on his legs then his arms then he started talking again

 "i saw the virus outbreak, and i saw a couple movies and i grabbed an infected dead body and well... i skinned it to put on my body... to survive of course... then i found a gun on the ground and surprisingly it was loaded so i hid it in the fake skin, then i stole food from the other groups which now happen to be dead and survived the whole 2 days so uhm yeah... oh and the army and some police people are out side so we should probably go, oh and here's some food and some other guns i found" 

he hands us the items and all 3 of us walk out with our hands up covered in blood.

I heard a noise, I'd didn't think it was anything big, the police jumped over barriers and yell at us the get down, we didn't understand.... and infected jumped on my girl best friend.  "NO!"  I yelledas an officer shot the both of them.... I feel to my knees as I cried.

My other friend ran up behind me, he said "she fine look at her please" I didnt looks for a few seconds I looked and saw her looking up at me "your alive!" I said smiling as tears filled my eyes "he shot the infected twice not me" she said. " I saw it bite you, how are you not infected?" I asked, she lifts up her shirt and it was bullet proof vest.

We got up and got escorted by the cops back to the station.

" we better get free college" i said, my 2 friends laughed " i cant believe i came here to skip school with you and then we ended up trapped in the school for 2 days" my friend exclaimed, at the station they also kept asking weird questions like " how did u survive" " how much blood was there" how many of you died" " are you the only ones who survived" and stuff like that, it was annoying but then we all got to go home, and it just ended there..... Or did it?
