The light blurred in and out, accompanied with voices that seemed to loom just out of hearing range. When the light finally stayed and the voices became clearer was when I awoke.
I was somewhere I had never been before, not even in dreams. The room was painted with a rustic brown and had two large windows that were curtained off.

It was mostly bare, excluding the massive bed I was sitting up in.
Where was mum? And Luke?

Were those... Angel things real?

As if in response to my thoughts, the massive spruce door swung open, with barely a creak.
I had a sudden urge to cower under the silken blanket, to hide until whoever it was coming in left.

But no... It was him. The black-haired man with eyes that could see your destiny and wings that cascaded like golden drops.
"I see you're awake."

She stared at me, her glowing green eyes alight with a curious fear. I guess it was to be expected, after all, being awoken in a completely different setting would be disorientating.
"I am Tors," Bowing, I looked up. Her eyes were still wide on me, her cheeks coloured.
"T-Tors..." She stuttered, as if trying the name out on her tongue.
"That's right." I smirked, earning a furious blush in return.
"Where am I then, 'Tors'?" Her voice had a stubborn bite, it was quite impressive.
"In the world where the Xor reign. You are in a whole nother universe."
She shuddered, her eyes betraying the fear and confusion that haunted her mind. "W...Why me..?"
"You're the weapon."

The girl gave me a very long, blank stare.
"I'm a human being, not a weapon. And where is Luke and mum? Did you... Kill them..?"
Ah... So that young child and woman were her family.
"They are on Earth, and no I did not kill them." I paused for a moment and studied her.

I had never seen a human with such intelligent green eyes that entertwined with a very delicate thread of blue, and hair that was a natural pink tinge.
"Well, if you are going to save us all, I guess you have to trust me."

She gave a puzzled look that made her features seem softer.

"Come on, let me answer your questions." My extended hand helped her out of the bed.

But she was on the floor before I could do anything.
