Milk ran and ran, but the more he ran, the more the mysterious cookie seemed to be getting farther away, and it wasn't even running!

"...Wait, please...! I just want to speak to you...!" Milk Cookie yelled, trying his best to charge through the branches and other vegetation that were unfortunate enough to be in the cookie's path.

It did hurt trying to get through all of that, even giving him a few scratches on his face, but nevertheless, Milk Cookie was still determined to see this cookie! Eventually, he plows through the bushes and got into a small clearing.

The little cookie dusted away all of the little bits of wood and leaves that got on his white clothes and hair, also including his face. Once that was over with, Milk looked up and saw the external canopy of a huge, dark red wagasa facing him.

Baffled, Milk Cookie took a few steps closer to the wagasa; he made sure to keep his distance though, who knows what could be behind that big ol' thing?

Milk opens his mouth to speak, only to be quickly interrupted by a smooth, feminine voice.

"It's so nice to meet you, dear."

The wagasa got lifted while it was being turned. What was behind the umbrella revealed itself to be well, yeah, a cookie! But she looks vastly different from any other cookie that Milk Cookie has encountered.

She had completely white dough with two horns protruding out of her forehead, and short, straight, black hair accompanying the horns. The cookie was also wearing a grey robe that has black markings rooting out from each other and a black band around her waist that kept the robe in place.

A slight chuckle left her mouth as she smiled, narrowing her already slanted eyes; her few long eyelashes lightly flowing while her bright, red eyes shined in the shadows of the umbrella, the red streaks coming down from her eyes made her eyes pop out a bit more in the shade.

"Sorry that I brought you so far away from your friend... I'm a little shy around other cookies."

Milk Cookie blinked. He was having such a hard time processing what he was seeing, maybe it was due to the fact he just woke up and is still feeling a bit groggy, but at the same time... Milk was feeling a strong sense of admiration for the cookie's appearance to the point sensory inputs were being a bit wonky.

While Milk Cookie was looking like a cinnamon deer frozen in headlights, the mysterious cookie walked over to the little cleric, standing right in front of him. She slightly kneeled until she was near to Milk's height.

"I know this meeting is so sudden, I greatly apologize, but we can't give each other the cold shoulder. Now, your name is Milk Cookie, am I correct?"

Almost immediately, Milk Cookie nodded. "Mhm...!"

"Oh my, I heard so much about you from other cookies! I didn't expect you to look so adorable." Overwhelmed by Milk's adorableness, the mysterious cookie used her second pair of arms to pinch Milk's cheek. Of course, they're cookies, so not much stretching.

"Eheh..! Thank you!" Milk Cookie chuckled, giving the other cookie his usual smile. He didn't mind the cheek pinching, he was used to it. "Um, what's your name, ma'am?"

Slightly astonished, the mysterious cookie's eyes widen a bit as she stood up straight. How did she forget about introducing herself? Well, doesn't seem like a big deal, thankfully.

"Pomp Cookie, my name is Pomp Cookie." She introduced.

"Pomp Cookie? What a wonderful name!" Milk smiled, even letting out a small chuckle.

The cheeriness of the little cookie was heartwarming to see, Pomp never expected such a... cookie to be so captivating. His smile was even making her smile, would ya look at that?

That smile on Pomp's face stayed until she started hearing bushes rustling; immediately, that smile became a frown as Pomp Cookie slightly lowered her head, and used her huge wagasa to slightly hide herself. Now her focus was away from Milk and onto the bushes behind him.

The bushes also drew Milk Cookie's attention, and before anyone could exchange any sort of words, Purple Yam charged out, smashing the branches of the bushes out of his way.

"MILK COOKIE!" He shouted, looking irritated as hell.

Seeing the irritated purple warrior, Milk Cookie flinched a little but he was more so not very fazed by this; although, Milk did back away from the warrior. Pomp Cookie also backed away, glaring at the large cookie.

"THERE YOU ARE! I ALMOST HAD TO LOOK EVERYWHERE FOR YOU!"

Purple Yam then stomped and pointed his mace at the cleric's face.

"WHO ARE YOU EVEN TALKING TO?! THE ONLY REASON I FOUND YOU IS BECAUSE I HEARD YOU TALKING!"

"Oh! Meet my new friend--"

As Milk Cookie turned around to introduce Pomp Cookie, oddly enough, she was not in that spot. What a baffling sight... Milk Cookie looked side to side, but to no avail, she was nowhere to be found.

Seeing absolutely no one, Purple Yam threw his mace over his shoulder and raised an eyebrow while he glared down at Milk Cookie. "I think you NEED more sleep, Milk."

"But... But..."

Milk Cookie turned back to Purple Yam. "She was right in front of me! We were introducing each other!"

It was clear that Milk's words were not convincing Purple Yam one bit. Before the little cookie could explain further, Yam grabbed onto Milk's shawl and dragged him as Yam started making his way back to their campsite.

"I don't want to HEAR any more of that CRAP!" Purple Yam huffed.

There was no way he did not have a full-fledged conversation with that cookie, no way. He still remembers the moment pretty well. Maybe Pomp Cookie ran off before either of them noticed? But then again, wouldn't Purple Yam notice a cookie running away given his size?

Milk Cookie let out a small sigh while he let the angry cookie drag him across the ground. Either way, maybe Pomp did just run away, she did mention being shy after all.
