"What the...?"
Simone's eyes widened at the sight of her fiancé wielding a gun. His face was still a bloody mess but he didn't seem to care.
Pulling out his own gun, Matthew quickly moved forward, pointing it at George while shielding the others behind him. "Mr. De Leon, Martha, take Miss Simone out of here. I'll handle things-"
Martha yelped as she was taken forcefully by George and the gun redirected on her temple. "Anybody move one step and she dies!"
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Simone shouted, trying to move forward but was held back by Leonardo who was also trying so hard to maintain restraint.
"Come with me and I promise I'll explain everything. That way, nobody gets hurt." George rasped.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Simone asked in confusion
"Don't listen to him Simone. Leave with Leonardo right now!" Martha warned.
"Shut up tramp!" George squeezed the back of Martha's throat harshly, making her gasp for air.
"Stop this George! Right now!" Simone exasperated.
"Don't worry- about me- I'll be fine..." Martha tried to reassure them in between breaths.
"The only way things are going to be fine around here is if you do as I say! Come with me Simonna! Now!" George raised his voice more harshly.
You're mine, Simonna! mine!
How dare you disobey me?!
All of you, everything of you is mine!
Simone's eyes widened as pieces of her memory came together one after the other. Each one like a poisonous arrow straight to her heart.
There was a woman. Eyes as dark as a bottomless pit; Smug lips as red as crimson blood.
Mine!
"Mona?" Leonardo caught her as she stumbled. She was trembling.
"What are you doing Mr. De Leon?! Take her away from here now!" Matthew insisted.
"No!" Out of panic, George shot at a glass, shattering it to pieces.
Leonardo lifted Simone up into his arms, bridal style, and rushed to get to the door, but George shot at it, halting his tracks.
"Take another bloody step!" George raged, "and I'll shoot her bloody brains out!" Teeth gritted in maddening anger, he brought the gun back on Martha's temple.
Taking advantage of George's unstable composure, Matthew made a move and shot his leg. Losing his balance, George fell to his knees while Martha stumbled out of his weak grasp.
"All of you, step out! Now!" Matthew ordered for their own safety while his gun remained fixed on George's forehead. Once they were out, he resumed his focus back on the Brit bastard.
"Well would you look at that. Feeling like the boss now?" George mocked with a smug look on his face, but not for long. Matthew thought.
Scoffing, Matthew pinned the gun harder on George's forehead. "At least now we know you won't be one any longer. I have every right to send you straight to hell right now."
"Then what's stopping you? Go ahead! Pull the trigger! I dare you." George mocked further, trying to get on his nerves.
Matthew thought of all the humiliation both him and Frodd had to endure because of this bastard. The look of hurt and shame on his brother's face each time George hit on a sensitive topic, as the bastard never failed to cease the opportunity to look down on them. It hurt too much and that was why he was angry.
