A/n: This is set after endgame, not canon mission stuff though cause why not 😙

Sam POV:
Getting ready for my mission with Joaquin and I just can't stop thinking about someone. 'I mean they shouldn't be stuck in my head right? If I think they are annoying, they have a staring problem, they're too introverted, AND they're super cute- nonononnononono'

I shake my head trying to clear my thoughts and just keep getting ready. I get to the plane hangar and set my bag down "SAM" 'oh shit'

"Heyyyyy Bucky" "why'd you give up that shield?" "Bucky not right now ok? We've already had this talk. I thought it was right and I didn't think they'd make some Wooly mammoth captain America" I hear the plane start and know I have to leave now if I'm gonna make it.

"I'm going with you Sam" "Says who?" "Me"

"No Bucky, you're not coming with me this is a dangerous mission ok?" "And? I have a VIBRANIUM armmmmmm"

I try not to laugh as he whines about now being able to go. "No bucky ok? This is the last and most dangerous hydra bunker I don't want you there." "Well last time I checked ur not my daddy so I'm going." "Bu-"

He ignored me and walked to the plane "Seriously, Bucky" I just sighed and grabbed my bag heading towards the plane.

Bucky POV:
'Did I seriously have to come? I mean it's hydra. I could've just asked him on a date, nonono this is probably better than doing that'

We sat quietly on the plane and he stared down at his phone. I looked at his face and his beautiful features. 'Has he always been this pretty?'

Sam POV:
Sitting on the plane I suddenly felt eyes on me and knew who it was "like what you see staring machine?" "Wha- no I- um- well" 'haha seeing him stutter is cute' I looked up from my phone and see him blushing bright red "well? Was it a nice view honey?"

He somehow blushed more "sowwy, I guess I spaced out." He had to cutest pout and I could swear it was like he slurred his words. "I'm just joking Bucky stare all you want it's a nice view."

Bucky POV:
I could feel myself slipping from the embarrassment but I knew I had to stay big until this mission was over.

"We'll be jumping in about 2 minutes so let's get ready" Sam said as he got up and went to his gear. "Ummm do u have a parachute?"

Sam looked up at me confused then seemed to realize "ohhhhh no sorry about that buddy. I can give you a ride if you want." He winked and turned back to his gear.

I knew I was blushing but I couldn't hide it now "I- umm yea that's fine" "alright then you better hold on tight"

I walked over to him and he put his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck "comfy baby?" "Um- sorry I can- uhh"

"Just hold on sweetheart" he jumped and and I hid my face in his neck and wrapped my feet around his waist scared.

Sam POV:
"Peas stop" "what was that Buck?" I could've sworn he was speaking like a baby "scawed peas stop" 'oh my goooooooodddddddd he's so cute I'm dying'

"Hey baby we are almost to the ground ok?" "Otay" I landed carefully on the ground as not to scare him. Then I realized just how light he was and how much weight he had lost. It made my heart break.

"Alright we're almost to the base Buck. You ready?" I looked down to see him blushing again "um yea Sam I'm ready"

Bucky POV:
'OH GOD NO I SLIPPED JESUS HE KNOWS HES GONNA THINK IM WEIRD AND WONT WANT TO SEE ME'

He lets me down and I grab my gun and start to walk beside him. We get to the doors and see "they're already open?" "I guess hydra doesn't know how to lock theirs doors."

We continue to walk in and see nothing? It's barren. Even our footsteps echo. "HELLOOOOOO" "SAM!"

"What I've got redwing and he says no one's here so I'm just making sure besides we have gunnnnnsss"

Sam POV:
I guess that was a little careless but I was just trying to annoy Bucky besides I already knew it was abandoned hydra hasn't been active in years their last soldier was killed during the Sokavia accords. I just came here to get something that was stolen from me.

"Hold up bucky I'll be right back." "YOURE LEAVING ME?!?!" I turned back to him. Was he really this scared?

"You can come with me Snow White. Wouldn't want her majesty all scared and alone." He walked to me and we went for the door.

We walked down the stairs and found a bunch of old desks and machines and "YES THERE IT IS!!!" I ran towards it and grabbed it and ran back to Bucky. He just stared at me in shock.

"You came all the way here to get A FUCKING STEERING WHEEL?!?!"

Bucky POV:
Sam just stared back at me and nodded "Well I wouldn't have to come here to get it if someoneeeee didn't rip it out of my precious car."

'I- huh?' "Wait the car you were driving when I met you as the winter soldier? The sedan?" Sam just nodded "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!!  WHY WOULD YOU COME BACK HERE FOR THAT DUMBASS!!!!"

Sam POV:
'Bitch tf im just getting my steering wheel' "Honey I didn't ask you to come along in fact I told you NO!"

"I wanted to talk to you! But you keep ignoring me to I came on this mission!" "Bitch please are you that desperate hahah" I thought it was a little too far but we always talk like this, right?

I looked back to Bucky to just see him with a broken look on his face. 'Oh shit. Ohhhhh nonono' "Bucky Im-"

Right when I begin to talk he breaks down crying and falls onto the ground curling up in the corner. 'Should I comfort him? Would he push me away?'

"Baby? Hey, I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that." I walk over and pull him into my lap and hold him. "I sowwy. No mean to yeww" "no it's ok baby. Can you tell me what's happening? Why are you crying?"

He looked up at me with such innocence that I realized he slipped again. "I sowwy daddy" I froze and Bucky soon realized what he said he started crying even harder

"Nononononononononono i sowwwyy. No be mad I no mean to" he kept sobbing and wouldnt calm down.

I picked him up and walked outside. "Hey baby, it's ok Shhhhh Shhhhh" he slowly calmed down and stuck his head in my neck. I started walking towards the jeep that was placed on the path for us.

On the way I saw a few daisies and decided to pick some for Bucky. I looked at him and saw that he had fallen asleep with his metal thumb in his mouth sucking on it.

I soon got the the car and opened the passenger side door to put Bucky in the seat. I started to set him in the seat but he grabbed onto me and whined.

"Bucky baby I need to put you in the car ok? And if you can do that I have a gift for u" he slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.

"Otay dada" I placed him in his seat and then buckled him in.

Bucky POV:
Daddy placed me in the car and buckled me in but I wasn't gonna forget about my gift.

"U gimme gif'?" Daddy laughed and then showed me some pretty flowers that he picked "FOWERS!!" "Yeaaa baby they're daisies. Do u like them?" "Yessss yess yess daddy fank 'ou!"

He stared back at me and smiled "you're welcome bud"

Sam POV:
I always knew he was a little. I mean the stuffed captain America bear on his 'bed' and the pacifier and bottles in his apartment. But I never thought he'd want me to be his "daddy".

I guess I might like him, but he definitely doesn't like me. He would never like me. But I'll get what I can with this cute baby boy.
