Carlos's POV
We go outside and walk past a group of girls
"Hi, Jay!"
"Hey, Jay!"
"Jay!"
"Hey, what's up" He smirks "Hi"
"Why do you torture them?" I ask, hitting his arm "Just pick someone to take to Cotillion already!"
"I'm going solo" He smiles "That way, I can dance with all of them"
"Ah, you're the expert" We both laugh "Um, Jay..." I start "If you were.. gonna ask someone.. What's the best way to go?" I ask
"Listen" He smiles "All you gotta do... is look like me" He laughs
"Oh! Ha-Ha!" I laugh sarcastically
"Mal!" Jane calls as she walks over. I see Y/N walking over too with a clipboard in her hand. She stops beside Jane and smiles
"Hey, Y/N" I smile nervously
Y/N's POV
"Hey!" I return the smile and hug him
"I was wondering... uh..." He starts but pauses. I look at him with a confused smile "If you liked the... carrot cake last night?"
"Oh, I didn't have the carrot cake" I smile
"Oh! Right! Cool, uh.. uh.."
"Smooth" Jay laughs as he pulls Carlos away. I frown and watch them walk away. I sigh and look as Lonnie comes up next to me
"I have an opening for a fitting at 3. Who wants it?" Evie asks
"Me!" Lonnie shouts "Sorry" She says to both of us
"Perfect" Evie smiles "I'll take you later" She says to Jane "And I'll do yours tonight" She smiles to me. I nod and look at my clipboard
"Mal! I hate to keep bugging you" Jane starts "But the decorating committee need more answers. So as much as I hate too... Umm.. you know?.. um.."
"Bug me?" Mal asks
"Right.."
"Yeah.. Jane, I would love to. I just have to get to class" She sighs
"You know! Just nod if you like it!"
"Okay" She smiles
"Chair swags, entry banner, twinkle lights, napkin design, table bunting, and you still haven't picked the party favours yet"
"Honestly, Jane, whatever-"
"I mean, we can do Chains, key charms, pen toppers. I kind of love the pen toppers but, I mean, we can do all three" She says really fast. Mal gasps and her eyes turn green. She relaxes and her eyes turn back to normal
"You okay?" I whisper. She nods and smiles
"I say pen toppers!" She smiles to Jane
"Yeah? You won't regret it" Jane smiles
"I can hardly wait to see what your wedding will look like" Lonnie squeals as her and Evie walk back over
