We don't have much time so listen carefully. If you are reading this you may already be in danger. I want to apologise straight away for a whole army of monsters attacking the world that kinda is our fault. But if you want to survive, you must go to the school. Find the classroom that my friends, Emerson, Lucy, Maia, Lara, Brooke, Alicia, Matina, Minh and Miah, and I have placed it. We've hidden it in Brisbane City we won't tell you whereabouts because we can't afford it to fall into the wrong hands and besides if your the right person you'll know where it is. Hi my name is Aleisha Robinson and my dog speaks prophecies. You probably think I'm kidding but I'm not, he speaks riddles that don't make any sense. He's only done it once, where green mist rolls out of his eyes and he spoke in a deep, rusty voice

"10 friends must come together,
To ice or fire man kind must fall,
The bond of friendship will be evils undoing,
But death will still be unleashed by Veronica's rage."

But it didn't make any sense at the time and I didn't realise it was really a warning until the monster attacked but by then it was to late.

The day was bitter and cold the wind smacked passing faces. All the windows were shut closed and there was no fun, loud booming noises as a school should have. Every one was hiding in the hall not daring to breathe. ROAR came a loud thunder above them and huge claw marks appeared on the roof as if to answer its call. Over the rumbling and screaming it was impossible to hear the 10 sets of tip toeing feet leaving the room as they ran for their lives.

"Quick Down this alley way!" whispered Emerson as she started to tip toe down into the abandoned shadows that laid ahead.

"No!" cried Lucy forcefully in an anxious tone peeking over her shoulder at the dooming darkness,
"It's like in all the horror books, someone brave and adventurous goes to a dark place and 'boom' you never see that person again!"

"Yeah, but would you rather be teared up in little pieces or probably survive in a little bit of darkness?" reasoned Maia as she looked behind her shoulder, only to her delight to see two ruby red eyes glaring out from behind the hall.

Foamy drool stretched towards the ground like chewing gum when it is stuck to an escaping hand. Razor sharp gleaming teeth hanged down. As if that wasn't enough to scare you the shiny dark emerald scales collided with each other and the blunted bulging horns expressed all the danger they were in.

"Well" struggled Lara, "I think we know which way were going to go, run!"

The claws that were half way from clawing the roof of the hall smashed on the ground the sapphire coloured saliva stood out to the eye as the monster opened its mouth to breathe it's revolting breathe, strong enough to kill a insect in smelling distance. We sprinted for our lives. But the monster was right on our tales. Getting faster. Too fast to beat. The monster slammed his paw down. But was interrupted by a ear slamming noise that was no where near being called music. He turned his glaring stare away from us and flew away. The girls were petrified to the spot.

"Let's go home?" said Matina with her cracked glasses half falling off, which gave a clear view of her brown eyes that expressed all of the girls fear.

Knowing that was enough for one day. They started to head back to the now collapsing hall when the sound of a trig breaking then tip toeing foot steps lead them to face the dooming cloud of darkness.

"What was that?" asked Brooke curiously and panicky looking in every direction that the sound might of come from.

"I don't know and I don't want to find out?" answered Alicia as she started walking slowly backwards away from the haunted ally way.

Suddenly every thing went silent. But out of the glimpse of an eye I saw a dark figure move behind the ghostly trees then a shadow of a hooded person came beyond them.

"Take Maia not me she's small!" shouted Minh pushing the closest person next to her, which was unfortunate for Maia, towards the figure, remembering all the shark movies where the shark goes for the smallest girl.

"Blood and warts don't go together." Miah unexpectedly trying to back away as much as she could from the emerging hand.

The pale, peaked hand slowly stretching from the dark hood, like out of the Harry potter films, was itching towards Maia's now wild, curly hair from the impact of the monsters paw stomping the ground.

"No!" screamed Minh firmly stepping in front of Maia to face the mysterious person, "How dare you try to touch her, she is not yours to touch!"

"But this is not your land to walk through" replied the hooded figure in a croaky voice showing her bloody teeth.

"What, this person is annoying, freaky and confusing, three in one, awkward!?" I cried as she knew already this person was not completely human!

The moon was a 50c coin in the misty, murky sky. The swirling, shadowy clouds stretched out in front of the moon like fingers blocking out the comfort and light from the night leaving the darkness to fill the sky. Dancing in the wind the trees bristled their leaves and as it was dead silent the girls all stood paralised to the spot. But suddenly the hooded figure took its chance. Her eyes flashed yellow. She stabbed Emerson. The evil, haunted trees turned on us with some strange, unknown magic in the air. Their huge claws of branches knocked us out and carried us off into the night. But as darkness over came me like clouds blocking the sun my last thoughts burned in her mind, will I ever see daylight again, my best friend is dead, and so will I be in a few minutes.
