True anchors

"WHAT?" they all chant in unison.
"seriously? I've know them for a total of five minuets and its so painfully obvious. it also goes the other way by the way. Liam is also Theos anchor. I find that quite remarkable really."
"how so?" Nolan asked.

"a werewolf with another werewolf as their anchor is already rare. but this goes both ways." everyone looked confused. peter sighed before continuing.
"it is the human side that needs the anchor. to keep that side in control instead of the animal. which is why the anchor is predominantly human. we don't choose out anchors. it just happens. its the most pure love. let me ask you, Scott Malia Alec Derek and Corey. who is your anchor?"

"Allison. always has been never changed."
"my adoptive dad. I don't want to hurt him."
"my bestfriend from my old school."
"mason."
"page. you know that."

"if the anchor is another wolf, it means not only the human has accepted it but the wolf aswell. once a wolf has found someone, it is for life. you know what it feels like to have an anchor. a sense of completeness, and belonging. now think of that as if it was times by two. one for the human. one for the wolf. if they lost their anchor it would be the worst pain that anyone could every imagine. its like loosing them twice."

after peter finished the pack sat in silence considering what had just been said. So much made sense now.

The boys had been outside for about five minutes now and Liam was clam.
"I'm sorry by the way." Liam broke the silence first.
"Why? You did nothing wrong."
"I over reacted again I lost control."
"It's not your fault and you didn't loose control of you did there would have been more shouting. Thank you though."

Liam smiled at the older boy. Theo's phone then began to ring.
"Harper? Are you okay?" Theo's voice filled with concern.
"Can you come pick me up I'm sorry if your busy or something but there's this guy. He's been following me for about twenty minutes now and it's getting creepy."
"Stay on the phone liam and I are on our way. Liam go tell the others where we are going."
Liam nodded and ran back into the school and in the main hall.

"Liam! Are you okay?" Scott noticed the boy running in.
"Theo and I have to go get harper we'll be back in like 20 minutes with her."
"Okay. Keep her safe. And you stay safe aswell."
Liam ran back out after grabbing his and Theo's bag and jumpers.

"Who's harper?" Peter questioned Scott.
"Theo's sister. She ran away 12 years ago she was only 9. Theo's like her in that way. He also left when he was 9."
"Where are they going?" Derek joined the conversation.
"They dropped harper at the mall this morning. But they seem in a rush so something might have happened." Mason informed the group.
"We let them deal with it. If they need us they will tell us." Scott told everyone. Basically saying to stay put.

Theo had already started the car when Liam got in throwing the bags into the back. They pulled out of the parking lot immediately and set on their way to the mall.
"Harper we are about five minutes out where are you?"
"Heading towards the main entrance now. I'm scared he's getting closer."
Theo stepped on the gas harder. They turned the last corner before they were in view of the mall.

"We are coming in now okay. Left of the entrance."
"I see you. He's getting faster."

Theo got out of the car and Liam followed suit. Harper ran over to them. Liam helper her into the car and made sure she was okay while Theo went up to the guy.
"Hey bitch. What the fuck do you think your doing?" The guy was large compared to Theo but definitely not stronger.

"And what are you going to do boy?" Theo landed a hard punch on the guys face knocking him down to the ground. However he got back up and punched Theo in the nose.
"Bitch." The chimera kicked the guy in the nuts causing him to fall to the ground.
"Stop stalking people you creep." Theo landed another kick on the man's stomach before getting in the car and driving everyone back to the school.
