chapter 12

Inpu pov
I laid Bryan down and bandaged his back. Bryan was past out from blood loss.
"Why does so much bad stuff happen to you? " I pull a strand of hair behind Bryan's ear and put my hand on his cheek. He's always been so peaceful when asleep. I smile and get up and walk into the forest looking for his other wing. After a little I find it hanging in a bush covered in blood. I pick the soft Wing up and carry it home I wrap it leaving it in a freezer. I sigh and walk back to our bedroom. Bryan lays there with pain in his face. I sigh and sit back down holding his hand and pass out holding his hand tightly.
Kaykrae pov
I almost had Bryan if inpu hadn't showed up I would've had him and could've saved him.  I need to figure out how to get him back.
I walk back into my cabin and see xylo
"Hey xylo"
"Hey kay so ive been wondering about something. "
"And what's that xylo I kinda have a situation to deal with. "
I sigh and he seemed a little worried.
"Well I was wondering... Bryan seems really happy I mean really happy unlike when he was with us... Why do we need him to come back to camp of he doesn't want to? "
I slam my fist on to a table "ITS BECAUSE HE'S THE ONLY ONE WHOS ABLE TO CONTROL ANIMALS AND PLANTS AND USE THEM FOR HEALING OR WEAPONS! " I sigh
"W-what do you mean can't bri do the same"
"No xylo I mean with him being a villain and with there being so many plants and dangerous creatures it's a hazard " I sigh
"Well then maybe if we just leave him and inpu alone they'll leave us alone"
"Xylo you can try that how about you see if you can reason with them. " I sigh and open my door and xylo leaves.

Bryan's pov
I wake up with a burning pain in my back and someone holding my hand. I blink a few times and move a little and see inpu.
I look down and see bandages wrapped around my torso.
"I-inpu"  I feel him slightly move
"Mmh b-bryan" inpu sits up still holding my hand.
"D-dear what hap-pened? " I feel pain shoot down my back when I try and sit up being pushed back down.
"Dear you need to rest" inpu rubbed my hand
He sighs and looks down
"Kaykrae was chasing you and cut one of your wings off dear and then tried to imprison you in the camp.. " I see tears form in inpus eyes.
"I-inpu did s-she hurt you? "
Inpu smiles and sighs
"No Bryan but you shouldn't be asking me that"
"B-but what if she hurt you we-wered my wi-ing even go? " inpu pinches the bridge of his nose.
"It's being saved in one of the coolers so we can hopefully re attach it or at least keep it from wilting.
I sigh and feel warm tears fall down my face.
" D-dear it'll be okay alright I'll figure out a way for you to fly! " he frowned and his head fell looking in his lap.
We sat there in silence for a little bit.
"What if we got a Pegasus? " inpu looked up
"I mean there's missions we can go on where gods can gift you one... " I look at inpu  with blurry eyes.
"If that's what you want well get you one dear. " inpu smiled
"I smile and try sitting up again it still hurting but Ill deal.
