HIM

The day started with me and Senia, already at the mall, waiting for the others. We sat down at the food court chilling as we waited. Bored, Senia began to talk about prom, which kinda made me feel old and anxious because that means we are almost going to college...

It's going to be the last year of being a high school student... ugh. But somehow, I kind of can't wait to get out of this hell hole. Although... I'll still be entering another one... it sucks.

"So, are you going to ask her out or what?" Senia suddenly asked- wait what? I looked at her confused, "and don't fucking- ugh, oh ito bente... give me that confused look." She continued, as she almost shoved me the twenty peso bill on my face, what did I do?

"Who- what are you talking about?"

"Si Alexandra, si Remi mo... ? Sino pa ba? Wait... were you thinking of asking another person out on senior prom night?! You're such a tabing dagat, tsk." I somehow got what she meant by that.

"I 'am' going to ask her..."

She suddenly gave me a teasing look, sometimes I'm very impressed at her quick change of emotions, "Yieeee." I rolled my eyes at her, and she can be really annoying sometimes, "So are you also admitting that you like her?"

"H-huh, ahm-ah it's just because we're friends... and we know each other already so I think it would be better if we go together... That's why I'm asking her out- to prom it's the safest option, and besides I think she would agree to that, and she wouldn't want anyone else to take her, right?"

"What the- well, hayst. And you're ranting LoL, that nervous?" She raised a brow and sighed, scratching her head, what's her problem? "But you do, got the point though..."

"How about you? Who are you going out with? I'm pretty sure someone has already asked you out."

"Yeah..." She said, sounding a bit bored? "But neh... I'd rather go alone."

"Why?"

"Baka kasi marami umiyak kung meron ako kadate." I stared at her, eyebrows furrowed, like is this the same person? I was processing what she just said, and I still can't believe this is Senia. Ok, maybe she just spends too much time with Andy and Jun, kaya siya naging ganyan... nahawaan na ata siya, I didn't know it was that bad if you catched the disease.

"Senia, ikaw ba yan?"

Napatingin naman siya saakin, "Bitc- I mean... Oo naman, I was just joking you idiot, bawal ba mag joke? Wala ako ka date dahil wala lang, like I said, I'd rather go by myself."

"Oh.... ok then. Sila Andy? May kadate na ba sila?"

"Ah...Si Jupiter Oo meron na yun, si Ri... siguro? Si El I don't really know either and I'm not that sure if he will have a date, since... you know... and si Dy, maybe? I think..."

"Oh." oh well, we can ask them later.

"U-um do you t-think that I should ask-"

"Hey guys." oh, Jun and Elias arrived.

"Hello, what were you guys talking about?" Jun said as they sat down.

"Prom, do you guys have dates already?"

"Oo..." oh, so Jun really has a date already.

"Really? Who?"

"Si Jessica, one of my classmates." He said casually.

"I thought you were taking Fiona?" Senia asked, wait, who's Fiona? Why don't I know her? Si Jessica lang kilala ko.

"Who's Fiona?"
