It's similar to the one my mother used to have

New York, november 25 1995

Chandler and Jessica hadn't spoken more about the night since that morning. After they both had gotten ready they went for a walk in New York so that Jessica could get to know the city a bit more.

Chandler: "And that is my favorite Jewelery store, I actually have to get in here to get a necklace"

Jessica: "Oooh is it to this Janice that I heard about this morning? To be honest I am kind of surprised that Joe would react that way. And I'm gonna give her a chance, because we never judge until we meet them."

Chandler: "Wow those are the wisest words I've ever heard from someone. But yeah, no one really likes Janice."

Jessica was surprised by the reaction she got. Then she understood that if almost everyone disliked her, there must be something that Chandler doesn't like either.

Jessica: "If you don't mind me asking, is there something you dislike about her too? I mean I figure it makes sense since you quite literally said everyone doesn't really like her."

Chandler looked at her with glassy eyes, tears building up as she asked the question. She could see the tears in his eyes and got sad herself. She pulled him into a hug and that's when the waterworks started.

Chandler: "I know it's childish but nobody else has ever liked me the way she does, and I need someone now before Christmas and so you know."

Jessica: "Oh honey, Everything is going to be fine, now let's go in there an get her that necklace."

She said as she pulled away from the hug, wiped away the tears from his face and looked him in the eyes. She felt bad for him but knew there wasn't anything she could do right now.

Chandler: "Yeah, let's go get Janice a necklace"

Jessica: "How about you go first and look for something nice, I'll be right behind you just gotta go take a phonecall first"

Chandler nodded as he started walking in to the store. Jessica was already on her way to the phonebooth.

She calls Joey.

Jessica: "Hey Joe, we need to talk and I don't mean just you and me, I mean everyone, except Chandler, he can never know about this."

She hung up before Joseph was even able to say no. She quickly walks back to the store, which to others might look as she was running but it wasn't runninng to her.

Just as she's about to walk through the door, Chandler opens. He has a huge smile on his face.

Jessica: "You found her something nice I've understood, sorry it took so long really had to make that call."

Chandler: "Yea I found something nice, no problem I understand you wanna talk about it or no?"

Jessica: "No, I'm fine can I see the necklace?"

Chandler looked at his friend with a worried look but a small smile slowly grew on his lips when he saw the excitement in her eyes.

Chandler: "Yes of course but when we're home so I don't drop it"

She laughed and they made their way to the coffee shop where they met two of their friends.

Central Perk, New York, November 25, 1994

Phoebe and Joey was sitting on the gangs usual spot as Chandler and Jessica walks in laughing.

Joey gives the pair a smile and pats on the sofa next to him for them to sit down. Which they do, but Chandler turn to Jessica before he even can say hey to Joey.

Jessica: "Oh my lord, Chandler it's beautiful, det är jättelikt det min mamma hade..." (It's very similar to the one my mother used to have)

Chandler smiled even though he didn't understand the last part. Joey on the other hand who knew a bit of Swedish by now got a bit sad as he looked at the necklace, she was right mrs Baker used to have a necklace just like that. Until the car accident three years ago.

JOEY'S THOUGHTS

When Jessica got the news that year she went into complete shock. She was staying at Joey's parents house at the time with Joey. Joey had seen the shock on her face and pulled her into a hug as she broke down in tears. Not only did she loose her mother, she lost her triplet, niece and her father as well.

BACK TO REALITY

A tear fell from Jessie's eye as she saw the necklace. No one noticed so she quickly took her hand up towards her cheek to take it away.

Chandler looked at the woman with happy eyes waiting for her to translate or say something. Jessica unerstood the face and said.

Jessie: "Janice is going to love it, you quite literally blew my mind."

Chandler lets out a little chuckle and looks down. Jessica smiles. everything becomes quiet.

Joey starts a converstion about his auditions this week. And everyone listens until Phoebe takes place on stage and sing smelly cat.

About twenty minutes later Phoebe has sung all her songs twice. That's when Rachel comes rushing through the door.

Jessie: "Hallå Rakel, hur är det med dig?"

Rachel stood there with her mind blown, she didn't understand anything, and who the heck was Rakel or what the heck was a Rakel?

Jessie understood her confusion as Rachel actually started looking around to see the person who she thought Jessie had greeted. Joey was laughing so hard he was rolling around on the floor, he knew exactly what Jessie had said.

Chandler: "I'm just as confused as you are don't worry"

Jessie: "Oh honey, I didn't mean to confuse you, it means  'Hi Rachel, how are you?' it's in Swedish, I'm sorry I sometimes forget I'm in the US."

Rachel stood there just as confused as before, Chandler on the other hand looked like it had clicked and he finally understood. 

Chandler: "Oh so what was it you said when I showed you the necklace?"

He had such a calm voice and a smirk on his face but that smirk quickly turned to a sad face when he saw Jessies face.

Chandler: "Oh no no no I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked, I'm really sorry. You don't have to answer!"

Jessie just looked at him and nodded. She could barely see anything, the tears in her eyes stole her sight. Joseph saw that she was close to falling apart so he threw Chandler across the couch to pull her in for a tight hug.
