Nameless girl

"I have always knew that I will day in your hands"

I hugged her tightly at hearing these words. I asked the universe why? Why does it have to be her from all people? Maybe it's was better if it was me...

"I never saw someone on the verge of death who looks as beautiful as you do" I said with a sad smile on my face because it's was all true, for me she was the most beautiful girl I ever seen.

I couldn't hear anything anymore, it was like the explosions stopped, I couldn't hear them, nor the screams of the people on the field, all was blank, my eyes were only fixed on her and I couldn't even feel the pain anymore because that it will be shameful compared to how much she's suffering right now.

I didn't know why I waited for so long to tell her that but now will be the last time I will see her, so she needs to know.

"I love you, I love you really, so please stay with me a bit more! Don't die on me!" Screaming these words desperately, tears began flowing down on my cheeks.

As I watched for just a second the apocalyptic scenery surrounding us, I heard her saying with a trembling voice, witch was very weird because her voice never trembled before, she was the strongest and boldest of all.

" I-I'm sor-r-y... S-see you at the other side, Sid" She slowly closed her eyes and I crumbled on the ground with her. 

No, she can't go now, I have one more question for her.

"Please, tell me your real name!" I don't want to remember her forever as the nameless girl who put my whole soul on fire. Maybe the only girl I will ever love for the rest of my life.

 She opened her eyes looked me in the eyes for only a tiny second before closing them again, then she placed her hand on my eyes so I could not see.

"An..." She slowly whispered but without continuing.

 But why? Why can't I hear her anymore, why she's not saying anything anymore?

Her hand collapsed from my face and I could see her again with a mouth full of blood and her eyes closed.

I checked her pulse "Nothing", the cruel reality hit me again. She was gone...

With that, I placed her down on the hard ground, kissed her lips without looking back I continued my journey. I just couldn't look back because if I'd do that I will collapse and die with her.

For her. I will fulfill her wish.
