I am not trying to glorify abuse, it should not in any circumstances be normalised, if you or someone you know are struggling through something please try to get help. It shouldn't be normal and nobody deserves to be treated in that way. Abuse can be presented in many different ways so don't doubt yourself or invalidate your experience as it is not the same for everyone.
