Blurry Lines

THE BEGINNING

OHM'S POV:

Before starting the shooting for bad buddy, I called Nanon to hang out. I thought it was very important for us to have a conversation about how things were going to flow. He was new to this, but I know how relationships and dynamics change. I don't want that to happen with Nanon. He is one of the very few people that I trust and love. 

"Hey.. what are you doing?" I called him up.

"Nothing, just heading out to eat something. what about you?" Nanon said.

"I haven't eaten yet either. Do you wanna come to mine? We could order in? I also wanted to talk about something. " 

"Yeah sure. I'll be there in an hour. " Nanon said.

Nanon arrived and we had dinner while watching a movie. he suggested we call Chimon as well to hang out, but I said we should do that some other day. He sensed that I was constantly thinking about something.

"So what did you want to talk about? Is something bothering you? Are you okay?" Nanon asked me.

"No. I mean yes..but idk how to put it across."

Nanon snorted and said, "Ohm.. we've known each other long enough to understand what the other is trying to say. So trust me  a little and tell me. What's up?"

"Non, you know how Bad Buddy would be my 5th bl, right? I've loved every project I've done and I've only learnt and tried to become a better person through the years. The only thing that always bothered me was how I lost touch with my co-stars and phis. As a kid that upset me a lot. I've come to an understanding that after being physically and emotionally close with my male costars, things shift, things change and not everyone wants to be attached and connected like me." 

"Ohmmm.." Nanon gave Ohm a soft smile, touching his shoulder.

"Just.. idk.. I don't want to lose you. I can't afford to do that. You mean too much to me. The thought of us changing or becoming distant, it scares me a lot. I've been thinking about this ever since BBS was confirmed but I was trying to tell myself to trust us."

"Ohm, listen to me. I love you, my friend. And youre very important to me too. We're professionals Ohm, we've been doing this since we were kids. So lets trust ourselves and what we have to create something good and become closer and better friends. okay? Well be fine. you don't have to worry about us. I'm a clingy person I'm not letting you get away from me for whatever reason at all."

"Hmmm. I just wanted you to know what was on my mind before we started shooting. Thank you."

"And shouldn't you be the one encouraging me? Since I'm the nervous wreck about shooting a BL? huh. Anyway.. uh uh uh.. come on, give me a hug. " 

"Promise me? promise me you'll not go away?" Ohm pleads.

"Stop being dramatic lol. Ah okay..Sanyyaa."

Nanon engulfs Ohm into a warm hug and both of them feel themselves calm down. 

3rd PERSON POV:

It's been hell of a ride till now for OhmNon. They're already 15 days into the shoot and they're having a lot of fun being their characters and having their friends around. Their chemistry and the energy they bring onto the set puts everyone on a sort of a high and the results are magic. 

Nanon is already totally immersed in his role as Pran, so much so that he confuses Ohm sometimes. Ohm though knows how Nanon struggles with identity and helps him out from time to time to break character and just be himself. Just like Nanon had thought, Ohm and he got closer portraying Pat and Pran. Their conversations had always included serious topics about life, death, careers etc, but through Pat and Pran, OhmNon found an outlet to talk about the most private of things.  Nanon liked to talk, and Ohm always let him. Ohm just smiled and listen to him babble on and teased him. 

It was when they had to shoot the alley scene when Pat covers Pran's mouth and shoves them into an alley to hide. Hugging and being close was something that came naturally to Ohm and Nanon, so this should be no problem Ohm had thought. When he stands in front of Nanon, bodies pressed together, breaths unstable and eyes locked, Ohm feels something shift in his body. He becomes a little bit nervous and confused and his eyes lose focus. The moment the scene ends, Ohm flashes Nanon a smile not wanting Nanon to sense anything and walks off. He brushes it off thinking it must have been the proximity which made him feel that way. 

Both of them had always been affectionate, but Pat and Pran made them even more touchy-feely. Nanon would peck Ohm's cheek abruptly, Ohm would cling onto Nanon or lay on his lap without even thinking anything about it. It was normal for them. The Staff and the crew found it adorable and understood why P'Aof chose them for the roles. 

When Pat pushes Pran onto the bed, while convincing him to not shift to a new apartment, Ohm's hand unknowingly slips onto Nanon's thighs. This shocks Nanon a little bit and his eyes widen but Ohm quickly recovers and now it was his turn to be under Nanon. Ohm looked into the eyes that were staring right back at him. Again he feels the same way he did a few days back, his nervousness and confusion returning again. This time he feels more annoyed and rushes to the washroom to find his face flushed red. He returns and Nanon shoots him a look mouthing 'You okay?' to which he smiles and nods. His frustration furthers when he sees Nanon hugging Drake casually and talking to their friends. He goes back home, wondering the whole time why he was so bothered with what Nanon did, or who he talked to, why it bothered him when they were close. It didn't happen with anyone else, it never happened before. Earlier he had thought it was maybe because he was playing Pat, but this was happening too often to be ignored as something Ohm knew it wasn't . 

He took a shower and called P'Q2. He trusted Phi and told him about his worries and his situation with Nanon. Phi listened to Ohm and after a long talk Ohm realised that he loves Nanon, truly whole heartedly loves the dimpled-boy. It took some time for Ohm to accept his feelings for his friend but he eventually did. He talked to Non about it because Ohm was a straightforward person who didn't hold back his feelings and because he knew that if he didn't, it would affect their work and their relationship.

To say Nanon was understanding is an understatement. The moment Ohm finished explaining what he had been feeling, Nanon hugged him saying "I love you too Ohm. A lot. I love you and Chimon more than anything in the world. You both mean so much to me." 

Their feelings became sorted and it made it easier for them to be Pat and Pran. Ohm was more relaxed now that he knew what he felt was pure adoration and love and respect for his friend. He knew he had found a friend for a lifetime.
