Chapter 1: So the Story continues

A/N: Since I'm great at timeskips (/j/sar) The end of the prologue/chapter 0 was middle school, and now, starting in this chapter, they're Freshman (9th graders)

        "There's that red haired bitch with my senpai. Why does senpai hang out with him?" Nyx said, whispering to himself. He hated when his senpai was around Luke, aka the "red haired bitch". Nyx was in his regular spot, taking photos of his beloved senpai. Nyx has collected some things from his senpai, like his eraser, his straw and a few other miscellaneous things. He has a collection of pictures that he took. Any time he could take even just one picture, he did.

     The bell rings, signaling the students and teachers that school was starting.

     "Today we're gonna talk about...." Ms. Pepper started the class day, her fake smile beaming on her face. Nyx decided that he wasn't going to listen, not that it would matter really...Ms. Pepper hated Nyx, but she wouldn't show that to the class. She, of course, waits to target him at certain times.

He took out his phone, and started sorting through his gallery, which, surprisingly, wasn't all his crush. There was edited photos of flowers, and clouds, and just nature in general. He was about to tap on a photo of his senpai when he felt someone watching. He quickly turned off his phone and looked around, and saw only Luke staring at him. He furrowed his eyebrows, confused on why he was looking at him. "What was that?" Luke whispered to him. Nyx looked around and figured he was talking to him. "Flowers." He whispered in reply. Luke raised an eyebrow at him but didn't question anything else. He turned his attention back to the teacher. Nyx inwardly sighed and went back on his phone.

The day droned on, and Nyx was able to talk to his crush a few times. True, it was only because of his classmates but still. "Woah, look at that weirdo." A blonde girl badly whispered to her friend. "I know. He's in my class, and he's like so quiet and creepy!" Her friend whispers back. Nyx sat at his lunch table, listening to what the girls were saying. "I heard that Koan talked to him!" Nyx stopped and listened more carefully. The other girls gasped, one replied with "Why would Koan waste his breath talking to him? What was so special about him?" The girl whined. Nyx's breathing started to get a bit faster, as he raked through his mind to find where that name could fit. Then, someone sat by him. Nyx ignored them, of course, but then came to realize who it was. "Hey. You okay there?" It was his beloved raven-haired boy. No...it was his beloved Koan. Yes. That's who the girls were talking about. The only two people who've actually talking to him were his senpai and the red-haired bitch. Since he knew the red-haired bitches name was Luke, so Koan had to be his senpais name.

"Yes." Nyx said a few minutes later, realizing he was asked a question. Koan smiled. "I'm glad you're okay. Did you not get food?" he asked, his soft voice and smell waving around Nyx. "No." Nyx kept his replies short, because his heart was beating loudly. "Why not? Can I get you some food?" Nyx just looked at him for a bit. "I...Well...Uhm..." Nyx was at a loss for words, how can someone be this kind to a nobody like him? "Okay. It's decided. What would you like? Want me to just pick something for you?" Koan asked. Nyx nodded and watched Koan go get some food for them.

Nyx could hear the girls again. God their voices were so annoying. "Why is Koan being nice to him??" one said. "He's getting him food!!" the other hissed.

Lol, Imma be sorta spam updating this because I want to get this out, I cannot take things slow for the life of me lol, but uhhh yeah, they're now in high school, I did a transition right?
