As the sun rose early the next morning Jennifer got up and took a quick shower before putting her clothes back on from the night before. Once dressed she headed downstairs to make Jonathan breakfast and took it upstairs to him. She planted a soft kiss on Jonathan's lips and set the tray down on the bed. Jonathan opened his eyes to his soon to be bride. While Jonathan ate breakfast Jennifer took her phone out of her purse and called her Mom Rosie to let her know that She was getting Married. OMG! Congratulations sweetheart. Rosie said excited. After a short conversation with Jennifer on the phone Rosie told the Family the Great News. We need to throw Jennifer and Jonathan an Engagement Party. Cora said. Yes we do. Rosie said. But we're gonna need help from my Mom Stefanie. Santa used a little magic to send a message back to the North Pole to Rosie's Mom Stefanie.

Inside an office that belonged to Momma Stefanie She got a message from her son in law Santa Claus letting her know that her youngest Granddaughter Jennifer is Getting Married, and Rosie is gonna need her help planning an Engagement Party for Jennifer and Jonathan. Before she left her office Momma Stefanie sent an invitation to Jonathan's family to the Engagement Party this evening at 7pm. As she headed out the door Momma Stefanie picked up two bags for Jennifer. She made her way outside of the workshop, and opened a Shimmering Blue Gate and stepped out in front of the Holly Inn before heading inside to meet her family.

Inside the lobby of the Holly Inn Momma Stefanie looked around at the decorations as she waited for her family to meet her in the lobby. She had already talked to Celia's parents about using the small ballroom for her Granddaughter Jennifer's Engagement Party this evening at 7 pm. As the Claus family walked out of the elevator Rosie hugged her Mom and thanked her for coming so quickly. "If this party is gonna happen this evening then we can't sit around and twiddle our thumbs. Momma said. So where is the party gonna take place? Cora asked Momma. In here. Momma said. Leading them to the small ballroom. I've already talked to the owners about tables and chairs. Momma continued. One table will be for the food up against the wall with an Ice Blue Poinsettia on each end of the table, and the two Red Poinsettias will sit in the planters on each side of the doorway as you enter the ballroom. Whose taking care of the food for the party. Colin asked. Cathy and a young lady named Celia will take care of the food with the help from Cathy's Mom who came in from out of town last night." As the day goes on the small ballroom is decorated for Jennifer's Engagement Party. In the middle of the planning Momma Stefanie met her namesake Cora's daughter Stefanie Nicole Claus, and dropped to her knees and hugged her great-granddaughter as tears streamed down her cheeks. After being missing for ten years Momma never thought she would see her great-granddaughter. By the time the afternoon rolled around Jennifer had returned to the Holly Inn and after getting a hug from Rosie. She sent Jennifer upstairs to her room to relax. While Jonathan showered and headed back to his parents house.

Back at his parents house Jonathan told his family the Great News. The family was happy for Jonathan and Jennifer. "Jennifer's Mom, Sister, and Grandma are planning the Party for 7 pm this evening. Lucy said to Jonathan. Which means its low key with just both families present, and the Holly Inn is taking care of the food and drinks. So we have time to relax this afternoon before we head to the Holly Inn. John said to his son.

As the afternoon turned to evening the small ballroom was decorated for the Engagement Party. Balloons were tied to the planters that held the red poinsettias on either side of the doorway. Celia made a banner on her computer for the Party it took a lot of paper and ink to make the banner for Jennifer and Jonathan. With the help of Jennifer's sister Cora Celia taped the banner to the wall where the Happy Couple would be able to see it. The Tables and Chairs were set up there was food and drinks already set out on the Food table. Meanwhile Jonathan's family got to the Holly Inn to help with any last min. preparation for the party. Ali and Aurora were on the look out for Jonathan and Jennifer. At exactly 7 pm Jonathan arrived at the Holly Inn while Jennifer made her way down to the lobby in the elevator. Ali ran to let the family know Jonathan was on his way in. A few seconds later Aurora ran in and said Jennifer is in the lobby. Jonathan greeted his Bride to be with a sweet kiss. "Okay Stefanie. Cora said go and get the LoveBirds and bring them into the ballroom. Stefanie ran out of the ballroom to get the Happy Couple while everyone stood in front of the decorations with the lights off, and waited. Out in the lobby Jennifer and Jonathan were trying to figure out why both of their families were acting so odd. Maybe I can help you with that. Stefanie said with a smile. Where is everyone? Jennifer asked her niece. Follow Me. Stefanie replied. Jennifer and Jonathan followed Stefanie to the ballroom and disappeared inside. Jennifer walked into the ballroom with Jonathan behind her before Jonathan could say anything Rosie flipped the lights on and said Surprise! Jennifer squealed and jumped into Jonathan's arms, but soon she had calmed down and looked at the decorations, and smiled No wonder you guys were acting odd this morning. You were planning our Engagement Party." Well we had to call for backup. Santa said as Momma Stefanie walked from behind his back. OMG! Grandma Stefanie. Jennifer said excited as she gave her Grandma a hug. A few mins later Jennifer turned to introduce Momma Stefanie to her Husband to be Jonathan. It's a pleasure to meet you ma'm. Jonathan said shaking her hand as John and Jessica stood there watching their son. Soon everyone was getting some food and drinks before sitting down to eat, but before Jennifer could get her food Rosie and Momma Stefanie asked her to come with them into the lobby for a few mins. Jennifer went into the lobby with her Mom and Grandma. What's up? Jennifer asked them. Celia brought out two gift bags and a small box from behind the desk and placed them in front of Jennifer. Jennifer reached for Rosie's gift first and opened the box to reveal the Jewelry set her Mom wore when she married their Dad. Oh Mom. Jennifer said thank you giving Rosie a hug. Open this one next. Momma Stefanie said placing the big gift bag in front of Jennifer. Jennifer opened the big gift bag and covered her mouth in surprise then pulled out her Grandma's Wedding Dress that had been altered to fit her. Oh Grandma Thank you. Jennifer said holding the dress. Open your last gift Momma said. Jennifer carefully placed the dress back in the bag and opened her last gift to reveal the the shoes her Grandma wore on her Wedding Day. I Love the sparkle on the shoes. Jennifer said as she ran a finger over the gems. After the gifts were put upstairs in Jennifer's room by Momma Rosie and Jennifer went back to the party to eat, drink, and have fun. A few hours later the party ended with some of the leftovers going home or upstairs with each family. Talk turned to the Bachelor/Bachelorette parties tomorrow.
