The new girl

There was once a girl named Katy who was 16 years old, she lived with her mom and idad they were a pretty average normal family and had a happy life. They were from Spain and one day they were going back home after going out to eat just 3 of them but on their way back there was a very hard storm and well the dad was driving and in one second he lost control of the car and had a crash. The mom was in the front seat and Katy was in the back the mom and Katy were really hurt so the dad rushed and called an ambulance, they were rushed into the hospital not knowing if they were gonna make it out alive any of them. The dad was okay he just had some minor injures but the mom was the one that was really hurt, after a few hours Katy woke up she had some bad injures but her dad was next to her. " where is mom" Katy said worried a tear came out of his dad's eye and was hard for him to speak and stuttering but he said " is okay, everything will be okay love" "is she dead" Katy said while crying "yes" the dad said as he hugged her so tight but has his heart was broken

A few weeks passed by and then is Katy's mom's funeral a few friends were there but they didn't really have family there in Spain but her dad had an idea of going back to his old town in California it was named Capitola. A month passes by after Katy's mom passed away and her and her Dad are just moving to Capitola just as his dad had said they stay at his mom's house for a while, she lives alone. Once they get there Kat's dad tells Katy that she has to go to school and make new friends and has to just keep going with her life but Katy is still really sad about her mom they were really close and it hurt her most I would say. Another few weeks pass by and Katy finally thinks is the actual time for her to go to school again and like her dad said to keep going with her life. She went to the same high school her dad went to it was called Capitola High it was her first day her dad had just dropped her off from school, "you got this honey" the dad had said. She was going in and she was the "new girl" in school because she joined the school halfway thru the year at first she didn't really talk to no one that much she was just a little shy you could say. But when she got to lunch she didn't know where to sit and then a random girl told her to sit with her, and another girl "Hi I'm Jenna" she said "Hey I'm Elena" she said they seemed very nice and, they were very nice Katy said. They were talking the whole lunch hour and were just getting to know each other Elena really liked them they were rude or anything "i think I just found myself some good new friends" Elena said.

They just keep talking and well they got along pretty well I would say but they were to busy talking and walking and out of nowhere Katy bumped into a random guy and spilled the drink he had on him " I AM SO SORRYYY" Katy kept repeating and felt so badd, "Is okay don't worry about it it was just apple juice haha, I'm Matt by the way nice to meet you" "I'm Katy nice to meet you too, I am so sorry I feel so bad I don't know what I can do to make it up to you" "How about you go to a party with me this week" a party?? Elena said, "yeah a party this week everyone in the school has been talking about it".Katy said "yeah why not it would be fun" but really inside she was so scared because iit was a party with a lot of people she didn't really know and she was still considered as the "new girl". She had asked Elena and Jenna if they were going and they had said they were they told her that she should go especially since Matt was going. It was the day of the party and she was scared but she was also excited at the same time she had gone with Matt and she met w Jenna and Elena over there. At first, she didn't know how to feel about it but after like an hour she got more comfortable and she was having a fun time dancing and singing and a lot of people liked her, but after a few hours when it was time to go, Jenna and Elena, were looking for Katy and couldn't find her and they kept calling her phone and she just wouldn't answer but what they also noticed was that Matt wasn't there so they probably thought they were together nothing bad so they just went home safely thinking Katy was with Matt and nothing had happened to her. Then Monday comes Elena didn't come to school which Elena and Jenna thought was weird but Matt was and they had asked him if she went with him after the party and he said she didn't go with him that he left alone and hadn't seen her since the party. After that Katy's dad comes into the school office yelling worried cause he hadn't seen his daughter since Friday night because he hadn't asked him for permission she sneaked out to go to the party so he had no idea where she was. He was worried and had asked Jenna and Elena if they knew something about her because he knew that they were like one of the only friends she had and they had told him that they had just seen her at the party but that was it they didn't know where she was but they had said test she got to the party with Matt but just weren't sure if she left with him. It was so weird Katy's dad said he knew she wouldn't just disappear like that, something must've happened to her, a few days pass by and they still don't know anything about her in one day. They had found a body around a lake kinda close to the school... and it was Katy's and was actually dead it looked like they had stabbed her. Katy's dad was called into the police station and had told him the terrible news and just started crying with his heartbroken in the middle of the police station and kept saying that the person who did this must payyyyy. The news went so fast to the school and Jenna and Elena were almost so sure that it was Matt who had killed her they just had the feeling that Matt was acting weird since everything had happened. So what they did they went to the police station and told them that MAtt was the last person she was with that day so they went to her house and they did in fact find a basement where it looked like someone was living there and all of Katy's stuff the police arrested Matt infinitely and he was in fact the one that had killed her. Matt was not good she was not the first person that he had killed but now Katy's dad had stayed with no daughter wither but Elena and Jenna were with him for a long time to make sure he was okay for a while but after that Matt would not be out of prison for a longggggg time. And after everything, Katy was always remembered for being such an amazing person and will forever be in everyone's heart
