Dream watched with great amusement as the brother talked. Well, more like glared. They were having their own personal stare-down. And as funny as it was, he had someone to get back to. He threw an enderpearl and felt the world shift. He appeared in the mouth of the cave. Following the dimly lit torches, he made his way down the ever-spiraling stone path. From outside of the room, he could hear whimpering and crying. He grinned, his eyes lighting up at the sound that would have most people's hearts twisted.

He pushed open the heavy iron door, the hinges squeaking at the harsh treatment. The child, Ranboo, looked up with a hopeful expression. However, it quickly morphed into one of fear and sadness when he saw who it was. Dream pouted, "what, not happy to see me? I'm hurt." He said, clutching his heart, face still formed a pout. Ranboo looked at him with teary eyes, the purple-ish tear rolled down his face, burning skin. Dream stilled over and kicked the cage. Ranboo cried out and Dream looked down at him. "Saw your daddy and uncle. Those two stupid bastards are at each other's throats." He sighed as if he was reliving a great memory. "There was a type where they truly would kill each other and your grandfather actually did." Ranboo blinked at him, eye huge and owlish. Dream gasps, " what, has your daddy never told you that as a bedtime story?"

Dream sat down and peered into the cage. Slowly, he unbuckled his mask, allowing it to fall off his face. There was a large scar running from his left eye, across the bridge of his nose and underneath the right eye. Dark circles outlined his eye and it was clear he hadn't slept in sometime. "So, little one," he sneered. "Wanna hear a story about your family and the past? It's a really killer, trust me," he said looked Ranboo directly in the eyes. "I know."
