Love At First Sight

First love

 Maria lives in a beautiful city called Guadalajara, Jalisco. She works in a restaurant called El Jalapeños.

"Hello, welcome to the Jalapeños restaurant. My name is Maria. I will be your waitress today." said Maria.

"Hello Maria!!" said Beto, smiling.

Maria and Beto made eye contact. Maria takes Betos order. While he gets his food Beto gets his phone out and starts texting his friends about how Maria is so beautiful, how they look at each other, her smile made him fall in love. Maria was approaching to give him the food he ordered.

"Here is your food' said Maria

"Thank you, Maria, this food seems delicious," said Beto smiling at Maria.

Maria left to the register smiling, she was telling herself how Beto's smile was cute and attractive.

Maria went home thinking about Beto. But she knew she wouldn't see him again. The days kept going fast. She would go to school then from school to work. Maria worked at her parents' restaurant. It was the weekend, her free days from work she went shopping in the mall with her friends. Maria told her friends about Beto she told her friends

"Monica I saw a cute guy at the restaurant his eyes were so attractive but I don't think ima see him again so I should get over that," said Maria

"Did you even ask for his social media?" said Monica.

"No, that's weird, I was just his waitress," said Maria laughing. "Girl either way if he was cute you should've asked for his snap at least," said Monica

"I guess your right but still I don't want to have a boyfriend or anything," said Maria.

It was another day Maria was at school the teacher announces that a new student enrolled at her same school. Maria seemed like she didn't care at all until the teacher announces his name but Maria was so distracted that she didn't care. She realized that the new guy was sitting next to her and she just turned around and got red. She didn't know how to react. She gets out of the classroom to go to the bathroom. Once Maria goes to the bathroom she started talking to herself in the mirror.

"That's the guy who was at the restaurant, what am I going to do if he talks to me. I'm going to get shy and start stuttering," said Maria in her head.

(Beto's point of view)

Beto after eating at the restaurant went to his house thinking about Maria, but he said to himself that she was only a waitress but that didn't matter to him. His family is very rich and they always wanted a girl for him but rich. Beto was new to Mexico he lived in the United States but his parents wanted to live at least 4 years in Mexico. His parents found a school for Beto, his first day of school was next week. It was the weekend Beto went out with his cousins who had a pool party. Beto started talking about Maria to their cousins.

It was Betos's first day of school he was nervous but excited to meet new people he only knew his cousins that go there.

"Are you ready mijo? the chofer is going to take you" said Betos's mom "Yes mom I'm ready. Stop acting like I'm a little kid please" said Beto.

Beto was on his way to school. He saw his cousins dab them up. The bell ringed he went to his first class which is biology. He goes to his class as soon he gets in he sees Maria the girl who worked at the restaurant he went to. He got happy nervous he didn't know what to feel.

"Hello students this is a new student called Beto, please welcome Beto to our class," said the teacher.

Beto was feeling extra nervous when the teacher told him that he was going to sit by Maria.

"Hey, I am Beto I don't know if you remember of me I was at that restaurant you work at," said Beto.

(Maria point of view)

"No way he is talking to me ughh (maria talking to herself silently), hey Beto yes I do remember about you," said Maria.

"You think you could show me the school, my cousins go here but I don't think they want to show me the school' said Beto.

"I have to go with my friends somewhere so I cant sorry Beto," said Maria all nervous because she was lying to him. Maria didn't want to show him the school because she know herself and she would've fallen for him, honestly, she doesn't want to fall in love to get heartbroken. Maria had a boyfriend back then she was madly in love with him but the guys didn't treat her well but she loved him that she didn't break up with him. One day she caught her ex-boyfriend cheating so she lost herself. It took time for her to heal, no she is better than ever focusing on school and work you know chasing that bag.

Days passed Beto was trying to talk to Maria but she avoided him. One day Maria starts to answer Beto. Maria and Beto started being good friends. They would go out every day after school when Maria didn't work or Beto would've gone to her restaurant to see her. Slowly Beto started to fall in love with her also Maria too. But they didn't want to express their feeling to each other because that will ruin their friendship. They continued being friends until one day Beto ask Maria something.

"Would you like to come over and meet my Family?" said Beto smiling

"Uhhh I don't know I will think about it, I will let you know tomorrow at school," Maria said nervously.

Maria went home happy but thinking about Beto's question. She couldn't sleep about it, it's that difficult.

(Next day)

Beto woke up early to pick up Maria from her house to go to school. Maria had her answer ready but she wasn't going to tell beto right away until beto ask her she will tell him. For now, she is going to enjoy her day with him. At school, people called them the "cutest couple of the school" they just laughed at each other while making eye contact. Beto asked Maria about the question he asked yesterday she told him that she will go mee her family.

The day came, Maria went to Beto's house. Maria felt so nervous that she was shaking. Betos mom greets Maria.

"Hey, I'm Martha Beto's mom" "oh, hey im maria" said nervously.

After being with her family Maria saw a notification on Beto's phone. Maria got so sad that she ran out of the house. Beto knew he did a mistake he didn't know what to do so he let Maria leave.

Maria went home crying she didn't know what to do so she blocked beto on everything. Once she did her mother surprisingly told her something

"Maria we need to leave Mexico ASAP," said Gabriela, Maria's mom.

As soon they got the tickets they left Mexico.
