Sky Islands : Anticipation.

Chapter 1: Tari Arrives.

The Blue Void fades as Ivory quickly gathers around and witnesses a blue circle, break through the oxygen and air as it fills the sky with blue mist as someone steps out.

The outline of someone, they stood menacingly, as their hand are glowing light blue. The mist was too foggy to see who it was. Until a cracking sound could be heard as the blue mist retracts as she looks at the two.

Tari looks directly into their eyes as the portal behind her closes, she's holding another shard. Tari's clothing was a tad differant, very differant . Ivory stood in awe. Tearing up at the sight.

"T-...Tari!? I-...i-its really you... Where have you been!?" Ivory would shout, bursting into tears as she hugged Tari, who was pressed up against Ivory, crushed in a meaningful hug. Tari wipes her own tears and hugs her back.

"I-... I-ill explain later... c-can I please sit down..." Tari exlaims, in pain. She looked very rough and beat up cuts and mini scars surrounding her face and arms and the rest of her body. Her clothes were half ripped and covered in dirt and blood.

Ivory nods and helps her to the house and they both sit down on the sofa. "I-... Are you okay?? And... Why the fuck did you leave us for a whole year!" Ivory said, angry sad and happy all at the same time. Tari cowered slightly in guilt.

"I..." Tari looked down as her feet and then to the side. "When I fought The Supervisor. He... he told me the truth. The visor, he wore. Held him captive to do as she says." Tari sighs.

"Who? Who's she?" Ivory asks gently.

"Poppy." Tari said sternly. Ivory raises an eyebrow confusingly. Tari shrugs her shoulders. "I've got no clue who she is. But he was scared of her. And... it only means there's more threats coming our way." Tari says in a sad tone, turning the other way in fear.

Ivory puts her hand on Tari's back. "Look, we... we'll get through it. Come on, just... do you want something to eat?" Ivory said lifting Tari's chin. Tari looked up to her, feeling a soft pinkness fade onto her face. "I-... yeah please." Tari said looking away.

Ivory let go and frowned a tad, walking into the kitchen and beginning to make something.

Tari looked down and held the Shards. Breathing heavily, knowing what she did. Its going to scar her forever. She'll never let it go. She stands up and trembles a little bit. But stays stable. She makes her way into the lab, closing the trapdoor and jumping down the ladders. Looking at the empty glass.

Tari sighs and rubs the back of her head. Walking up to it and dropping the Shards into the glass. As it shuts, the Shards hover as all the lights turn back on and power is restored. Tari looks back and looks to Ivory who's standing at the ladders.

"Wh...how did you..." Ivory says, her eyes twitching in disbelief. "T-the power has been out this whole time... we... we nearly died and you... Had it. The whole time?" Ivory said, dropping the plate of food on the floor.

"Look-... l-let me explain Ivy..." Tari says, pleading. Ivory closes her eyes and shades her head faster and faster before looking back at her. "I-...I can't believe you... Ditched us. You left us? With... nothing!? And didn't EVEN CONSIDER US!?" Ivory shouts. Walking forward, very slowly.

Tari cowers herself in fear at her angry. "I-ivory please you've got to hear me out..." Tari walks backwards a tint bit, limping. "HEAR YOU OUT!?" Ivory shouts. Taking a deep breath and then frowning.
