Chapter 1
Harry James Potter sat in his room, waiting until he was sure everyone was asleep.
The Potter Manor
He was waiting for a simple reason; he didn't have dinner. His parents had forgotten abut him...again.
of course, it didn't matter to him since his parents have done it before and would keep doing it again. The only problem was if he was caught sneaking around at night he would get in trouble. His 'father'...and yes he is using the term loosely, would force him back into his room and lock him in until moring...if he didn't forget..
His life hadn't been like this for the first fifteen months or so...it was only after Halloween that his life started going downhill.
That was the night, his small baby brother was chosen as the great Boy Who Lived.
He knew the truth though...
The child may not look it, but he was amazingly smart and perspective. He could remember every little thing about his short life since the first moment he saw his mother.
This was because he was different than almost everyone else.
He loves books. True. However, he never confined his knowledge to what is or isn't possible. He learned at a very young age that he could manipulate his magic to enhance his body. It wasn't that his magic was different per say, it was just because he learnd to use it in a different way then others.
Even without his magic, he was a brilliant child.
He learned to sneak aroundwithout being caught in order to advance his education.
It was for this reason that he was able to discover his small baby brother wasn't the Boy Who Lived. He was and he remembered that night like it was yesterday.
~Flashback~
The tall dark figure of a man with blood red eyes walked into his and his brother's room. The man pointed his wand at his brother, drawing closer and closer.
(Here im going to change it abit) Harry Potter just a year old watched him with careful eyes. "Child, I am very sorry. I'm not one to kill children, but this is war and we must do things we want not." The figure said sighing sadly, "I wish you a happy time in the afterlife as you join your ancestors, goodbye child." The figure pointed his wand at him, said something odd and a green light racing toward him.
The child recated on instinct and reached out toward the green light, making it change direction and back toward the caster with strange blood red eyes.
He watched as the man gasped and screamed in pain before he blew up. The force of the impact made the house shake and start to break. (I'm finished changing)
He was so tired that he didn't notice the odd cut his brother had on his cheek, looking like a small X because of the sharp piece of wood hiting him. He didn't even notice the stinging pain on his own forehead as he slipped into unconsciousness while he wondered where his parents might have been on that dreadful night.
He wondered where Wormtail was because that man was supposed to be watching over them.
~End Flashback~
That was the night his parents changed.
He remember that as he woke up the next morning, the first thing he saw was an empty room. (Here im going to change it abit) That even as he started to make noise to get his parents attention, they didn't come. Instead, a big black dog comforted him. (I'm finished changing) His parents forgot about him. Forgot he even existed, in favor of his baby brother.
His parents haddn't stopped loving him. They just...forgot about him.
