Okay. For the longest time, I have been scared to enter the Open Novella Contest but this year, I resolved to take my writing more seriously therefore you get this... something. It's the prelude to a series of steampunk novels i'm developing and I hope you find it as interesting as the idea is in my mind. (somewhere between my mind and the words, all of the razzle-dazzle gets whisked away).
Enough rambling, this is a novella based on ONC 2022 prompt 82. Let's jump right into it.
