"I love yo-"
"No you don't" Nyx stated with distaste
"Rose,what do you mean?"
She walked up to his face.
"Don't even say that disgusting name," She continued with tears growing, "You love the idea of who you think I am, you love her, not me."
Sebastian stayed quiet for a while,
"Rose, who the hell is 'her?"
"Don't you get it yet? I am Nyx not Rose. I will NEVER be Rose, as I never wanted ROSE in my life!"
Sebastian stared in confusion and hurt.
"So, if you are Rose's twin, then where is Rose?"
Nyx fell to her knees, and broke down crying,
"If I'm lucky, she's gone for good," she said between breaths.
Sebastian was horrified, which doesn't happen very often.
"What did you do to Rose?" he said.
"You are asking the wrong question," she mumbled in reply.
"Nyx, what the HELL did you do to ROSE?"
"I DID NOTHING TO ROSE, ROSE IS THE ONE WHO RUINED ME!"
But just like everyone else, he could not understand. Nyx's life had truly been ruined. She lost her brother to an enemy, her parents no longer believed in her, all her friends were murdered, and her Fiance, had landed himself in prison. To Nyx, all this Rose's fault.

Nyx and Rose grew up with an interesting family background. Their mother was a surgeon, who helped run Brooksville's biggest hospital. Their father, well, he was a big shot attorney, who did his best to make his children happy. As twins, there were often times when Rose would feel invisible, or neglected. Her sister, Nyx, and older brother, Theodore seemed to easily overshadow her. Speaking of her twin, the two were vastly different. Nyx was stern, determined, and ambitious, while Rose, well she was more soft spoken and quite the wallflower. Rose was always the perspective one. They all lived in a huge house, twelve bedrooms, and eight bathrooms, in a fancy neighborhood called, Brooksville Bay corner. A wealthy neighborhood, where houses were no more than 2 acres apart from each other. Needless to say, they had their life made. Until, Rose got tired of being in Nyx's shadow.
9 years before...
"Nyx, come on, let's go outside and play!" Theodore called from the majestic front door.
She began to tie her shoes.
"Nyx, why doesn't he ever call me to play with you guys?" Rose asked her sister.
"It's probably because you are way too girly!" Nyx teased as she finished tying her shoes.
"Coming Theo!"
Back then Rose didn't speak much, she often liked being alone, he gave her plenty of time to think. Most little girls think about fancy dresses, dolls, and falling in love, but not Rose. Ose thought about a world, where people listened to her, to be more exact, a world where she wasn't overshadowed by her twin sister, Nyx.
Theodore was thirteen years old back then, young, free, and full of life. NOt mention he treasured his sister, Nyx more than anything in the world. Rose followed the two, and watched them as they played hide and seek, and ran up and down the empty street. The lane was picture-perfect you could say, perfect for children to play...
Their closest neighbor was a small family called the Stones. The stones had a daughter of their own, her name was Asteria, fancy for a small little ten-year old. Asteria was Nyx's best friend, the two would go everywhere together, while Rose, once again, watched from the sidelines. Today was one of those days.
"Theo, let's go to the Stones' house and ask if Asteria can play today!" Nyx said.
Theo nodded in reply. He always agreed with Nyx, this bugged Rose. A lot.
Rose followed closely behind, while Nyx and Theo ran up to the gate of the Stone's mansion.
Theo ran the buzzer, and soon enough a voicer erupted in from the speaker by the gate.
"Yes?" the voice of a stern old man asked.
"Hi, I'm Theo Duvall, and my sister and I were wondering if Asteria could come out to play today,"
"One minute please," the voice replied.
Theo looked at Nyx, with a look that he often gave her when he felt nervous. It is safe to say that Theodore was an anxious kid. Very shy, never talked much. Regardless, he always did his best, to improve in the areas that he clearly lacked. That is why he decided to ring the buzzer, you see, usually Nyx would be the one to do that. Nyx was so robust, especially in the eyes of Rose. Rose was so still, and scared of what the world may hold, while her twin, was fearless, with eyes of stone, and a heart of glass.
After enjoying the quiet for a few minutes, a small girl began to make her way to the gate, with a tall parental figure who followed behind.
"Asteria can only play for two hours, before she has supper with her parents," Her governess explained.
Theo got nervous again, as he often does when in the presence of those older than him.
"That's alright, we promise to have her back before then," Nyx replied.
The governess smiled. Nyx was always loved by adults. Rose hated that too.
The gate opened, and Asteria walked out in her pink, flower dress.
"Good afternoon!" She smiled her typical Cheshire cat grin as she greeted her friends.
Theo blushed. Nyx caught it, and didn't like the thought of her brother liking her best friend. Rose noticed.
The children played for two hours, hide and seek was the game that had enticed them for that long. They eventually walked Asteria home, before heading home themselves. Their childhood was filled with love, adventures, and fun. They enjoyed it thoroughly, all except Rose, that is.
