After a while mira stopped, being tired. She fell but Bruno catched her. "Are you ok mi mariposa?" Bruno asked.
Mira nodded, eyes a bit glazed. Her eyes went backed to normal as the events went through her head. In the next few minutes, Mira sat on the sofa looking at the faces of her familia. She had a blank stare.
The first one to speak was Dolores. "That was-" She was cut off by Bruno. "That's was amazing mira! You finally showed that old hag a lesson!" Bruno said with admiration. Mira just laughed. "Family outcasts stick together right?" She said.
Everyone had just registered what she had said. Everyone started asking Mira questions and was overwhelming her. She started hyperventilating and sweating.
She covered her ears, not wanting to answer any of the questions. She kept shaking her hand. Bruno kept whispering something in her to calm her down. Nothing he said worked. Dolores knew what was happening and went to her. She told everyone to back up, giving her space.
Dolores started singing something to calm her down. After a while Mira felt better. Mira mumbled her thanks and went on the coach. She didn't want to answer question now, and didn't want to answer later.
After a while Mira realized that she showed her true self, her true gift. Shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot she thought. This wasn't supposed to happen. She looked up to see the faces as they realized what she did.
"Abuelas not dead? Is she?" Asked Camilo. Mira shook her head. All she did was make her feel what she felt. She went where she and gently shook her awake. She sighed, knowing that she would still be out. "She's still gonna be asleep for a couple hours." She said. She looked at Dolores. "Oh she's not dead. I can still hear her breathing." She checks by putting two fingers on her wrist. She was spared question by doing this.
