Also if you are thinking ugh of course this bitch has to have a traumatic past then yeah, this is the main character of an anime wattpad fan fiction, of course i'm gonna make this bitch traumatized.
Anyways, back to the backstory.
A group of scientists against the Ackerman experiment being created wanted to prove a way to make someone just as strong- or stronger without using titan blood or whatever. They created some kind of institution to hold experiments on children found without parents or any connections to people. (this way nobody will really know if they're missing) The people sent out to look for these abandoned kids are always mistaken for parents- hence why Marina thought her mom was that lady.
The mention of black tea being used to trigger her extra power/strength that purely comical, but it's also still going to be used in the story. (meaning I wasn't joking, she's literally going to have to drink black tea to get extra strong)
And no, she's not going to have some desire to murder Levi just because the scientists who fucked her up didn't support Ackermans.
