Prologue

The sun was shining bright over the kingdom of Boras as knights were on the training grounds sharpening their skills, and the Queen Irene Belserion was watching them train seeing which one is worthy of being her personal guard

Irene"they seem to be getting better by the day"

General"soon they will be able to slay a dragon by using one unit and I see you're also here to find a suitable personal guard for you"

Irene"of course, I may be strong but some help would also do nicely"

Irene then focused her sight on one of the knights who was somewhat shorter than her by an inch or two using a different blade then the rest and seeing how much faster they were with each blow

Irene"him, who is he?"

General"that's the foreigner we accepted into the kingdom he works better with that blade and has saved an entire unit from a dragon using strange swordplay"

Irene kept focusing on him seeing he looked pretty young especially close to her before starting to walk off

Irene"I want a better look at him"

General"him!? Wait hold on Queen Irene!"

Irene ignored the general and was now on the training grounds sideline seeing the man fight pressuring 5 men at once

He then released eight quick forward slashes one on top of the other making the five men go on the defense despite his short stature

Irene"such incredible speed..!"

???"think you five can keep going?"

Knight"my muscles are screaming..."

Knight2"such speed is hard to keep up with"

Knight3"I need to catch my breath..."

Knight4"how are you not tired yet..?!"

Knight5"let's rest a bit..."

???"you would all still be continuing if you had been using the breathing techniques I showed you"

The young man then turned his attention towards Irene who had her hands on her hips staring at him

The young man bowed his head to her

Irene"no need for you to be so formal right now, please explain what this breathing technique is"

???"it enhances the performance of a sword user in battle but needs time to work on since it takes full concentration of the body, one slip up and your body will start to ache all over trying to catch a breath"

The young man got into a stance with his sword sheathed as he took a deep breathe that started emitting a mist from his mouth surprising Irene as his mana increased

He then released a circular slash that created a small yet powerful gale of wind blowing the knights back while Irene stared amazed
