flashback to last chapter:
i hadnt really told anyone about my eating issues because again with the sadness issues i didnt want sympathy, ever since that day with fin and maddie, i hadnt eaten much at all, minho started to pick up on it last week, but i told him i ate when he was out running, i jut hope he doesnt bring it up with alby
anything i eat i just bring up now, i think its nerves, i dont know how im gonna last with chuck bringing my food, ill probably just say ill eat it later.
i look over at maddie, she is so pale and looks really weak, but me and chuck know she is really strong and is gonna make it, she has to make it
a/n heyy guyss, so im gonna do these flashbacks at the start of every chapter to refresh all your amazing minds and to make sure you dont miss anything out, but also chuck is officially in this book... YAYYYYYYYAAA and all that jazzy stuff.
still a/n just in case yall got confused, btw i really like saying yall cuz i dont even know why but it makes me happy so yeaaa, im a weird person dont judge *enter sassy emoji* but yea also soz i didnt update on sunday i was really busy and Saturday i went to a sleepover and we stayed up all night and i completely crashed on sunday and then i was like "ahhhh shuck face i didnt update so yea but its here now so yall dont need to worry....about a thing.....cuz every little thing.....is gonna... yea you get the picture anyway on to chapter 11, btw im lovin the title of this chapter :P
*another 2 weeks past since maddie went into her coma, so that is a total of 5 weeks since it happened. It has caused a great deal of chaos in the glade. Gally is trying to get people to agree with him that maddie should be banished as soon as she wakes up for gods know what reason, fin is being banished later today because he hurt another glader, newt hasn't left maddies side and isnt eating much and hasnt spoken to anyone apart from chuck, chuck is still confused about why he didnt come into the glade the some way as every one else, minho is only running every now and then, last time he went he ran straight into a griever, and only just escaped, now his confidence is dropping, and alby is trying to hold everyone together but is failing rather badly. all in all, the glade is falling to pieces without her*
NEWTS P.O.V
its been five weeks since i heard her sickly scream, it makes me sick thinking of how fin could do this to her, sick to my stomach, im so mad i could, i could, ughh i dont know what i could do but whatever it is, it wouldnt be nice.
i still have that feeling about her but i dont think its a lovey dovey thing anymore, i think its more of a protective feeling, like ive had a past life with her i guess, its weird.
anyway i haven't seen chuck in a while, i think he was appointed as a track-hoe in the end, he was nearly a cook but then he told me he had a bit of an incident and set the whole kitchen area on fire, typical chuck, i can imagine frypans face, bloody brilliant that is. That would of been quite a funny sight to witness, little chuck running for his life from fry, oh my what a sight that would be!
i haven't moved much since maddie, you know, all ive done is been forced to eat a couple of things by minho, hes been really busy lately, he had to take over as second in command as i wouldnt move and all that. i guess its just a rough time that we have to all get over.
"nnnn...." i heard a voice behind me
i turn around to see no one but a lifeless maddie behind me, wait what just happened, her eyelashes just fluttered, could she maybe be waking up?
"nneeeww..." it was defiantly coming from her this time, it was in a sort of panicked voice
"maddie?"
"can you hear me?"
"hello, answer please, if you can hear me answer!"
then she turned her head towards me, her eyes still closed, and the rest of her body is lifeless still, she paused then screamed
"NEWWWTT HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE, NEWT, HELLO NEWT WHERE ARE YOU, COME BACK PLEASE"
"MADDIE IM RIGHT HERE WAKE UP, WAKE UP PLEASE LOOK IM SAFE IM RIGHT HERE" i screamed trying my best to wake her up but still being careful
"newt....please...dont go.. dont let them take you....please...please." she paused for about 4 seconds then continued
"i dont want to lose you, not this time." another pause, this one was for about 7 seconds.
i just waited for her to continue, i am beyond confused right now
"ill find you again one day, best friends forever right?" she finished then dropped down on the bed, she looked defeated
"maddie, im here, please whatever that was about, im here plese"
.............. a long silence filled the room until i heard someone walk towards the room, the door opened and then a voice said
"that shuck face really needs too wake up now" i could tell who it was just by what they said.
