"hey Rae you want to go to the store with me?"

A little later Rae was dragged out of the house and to the mall.
"Why are we here again"

They started walking around while Rae was glued to clays side cuz they hate people.
Later in they started holding hands and walking.
" Hey can we go get boba please?"
"Hell yeah"
They walked to the boba shop and ordered once they sat down they started talking again while still holding hands.
Some time later an older lady in her 30's walked in and ordered and sat right next them.
She noticed them and got mad.
"Hey you kids right there!"
"Uhm yes"
Said clay turning towards the lady.
"What are you two young ladies doing together so close?"
"We're holding hands"
"Why are you gay or something"
"First off I'm a guy and my lover is a nonbinary"

"Shut the fuck up what do you know"
"I'm just saying you guys can switch genders and it's wrong to be gay!"
Rae just scooted farther into the corner of the booth while clay stood up.
"Bitch leave us alone we just wanted some boba"

Rae started laughing a tiny bit watching they're boyfriend argued with someone.
Sooner or later a lady came up and asked what the problem was.
"These guys are gay!"
"Ok mam I'm gonna have to ask u to leave the store."
After a bit if fuss she left and the waiter apologized and told them she was lesbian to and she understands.
Later that evening when Rae and clay got home. They talked a bit.
"That there is why I don't leave my house"
"It's ok I'll protect your love"
Rae blushed a bit and that he's him.
"Ik you will bubs now let's sleep"
