Y/N a young women in her early 20s, her story begins when she was a small child living in the industrious city of Liyue. She grew up having a reputation of being, well how do you put it, oh yes i know, loud and rambunctious. This caused her to be disliked by many people until she met a girl around her age while playing on the docked ships of the Harbour. She came up to you and said "Hey there, I've heard of you! Your Y/N right? All the kids at school talk about you." "Wh- WHAT! Well they are obviously talking about how amazing I am, you must be here because you want my autograph or something!" Y/N replied in an arrogant tone. "Now i see what they meant hehe" Mumbled the girl. "Uh not exactly its more them saying how your really lonely so i came to see if you wanted to be friends I'm Beidou!" "Oh... well as you already know im Y/N and im not lonely I have loads of friends there just, uh- not here right now, Yes! There just not here right now.... ANYWAYS, I dont need anymore friends" " Well okay then Y/N whatever you say, but I'm staying with you until your so called friends show up." That's when two of you first met, you and Beidou friends for life. Well when it first started off it was more of a one-sided friendship, with Beidou adamant on becoming your friend. But as time progressed you grew to love her and noticed how you and her were quite similar, you were both loud and didnt give a shit about what anyone thought of you. A perfect friendship.
When you were 12, you and Beidou were on the docked ships at the Harbour when suddenly this conversation happens. "Hey Y/N we've been friends for almost 7 years now and i still dont know what you want to do when your older?" Beidou asked out of the blue. Y/N with pieces of Xiangling's famous Grilled Tiger Fish all around your mouth, at the time she may have only been 7 but damn could that girl cook. "Oh! I'd like to be the captain of my own ship and sail all across Teyvat, I'd get to see all kinds of things like the snowy peaks of Snezhnaya or the beautiful scenery of Inazuma and maybe even gain a tiny bit of wisdom from Sumeru!" Answered Y/N with a small sparkle in her eye. "Woah! That sounds so fun, maybe we could sail Teyvat together and we can be the co-captains of our own ship" Offered Beidou, well she did like the idea of seeing all of Teyvat but she could also prove all the people at school that just because she wasn't from a fortunate family she could still live a great life with tons of mora. "WOAH HECK YEAH! I CAN SAIL THE SEAS WITH MY BEST FRIEND!" And there it was, two best friends who began aspiring to be captains together and planned their future together. How adorable!
