PART 2

Summer swimming lessons-

Amyra's parents thought of going to the gym daily so, instead of leaving Amyra at home they thought of putting her in swimming lessons. Amyra already knows how to swim but it will be fun and keep her busy. What Amyra did not know was that Dhaksh was also coming to take swimming lessons where she joined. When she sees Dhaksh during class:
Amyra: Dhaksh!(Internally happy)
Dhaksh: Amyra!(Internally happy)
Amyra: What are you doing here?
Dhaksh: Obviously , I came for swimming lessons.
Amyra: Oh, right.
Dhaksh: Wanna go for a lap before class starts. I mean you know how to swim right?
Amyra: Yes I do
Dhaksh and Amyra go for a few laps and attend the class and after class they get changed and wait for their parents and they see both their parents coming together.
Aditya: Is class over dear?
Amyra: Yes papa
Kabir: Is that your daughter Aditya? By the way, this is my son Dhaksh. (Pointing at Dhaksh)
Aditya: Yes Kabir
Amyra: Uncle, how do you know each other?
Kabir: Me and your father went to the same college.
Aradhya: Even we went to the same collage.(pointing at Komal)
After few minutes:
Dhaksh:(comes near Amyra's ear and whispers) Nice collage reunion
Amyra:(Finches but the goes near Dhaksh's ear) Even School reunion
Both of them look at eachother and laugh.
Daily both keep meeting each other and they grow pretty close. Both wait till the evening so that they can spend time together. Due to this all their summer holidays get over even sooner.

First Day of 6th-Grade
Amyra gets up late so she misses her bus so Aradhya calls the school and the school informs them that bus no. H3 passes in the same direction and is told to wait outside the house for sometime. The bus came after 10 min and climbed the bus . She sees Dhaksh sitting alone. Dhaksh was busy trying to understand why he liked Amyra's company. He would have been waiting to go school and to meet Amyra.
Amyra: Hi, Dhaksh
Dhaksh : (shocked) Amyra, what are you doing here?
Amyra: I woke up late so I missed my bus and hence I am coming in your bus.
Dhaksh: Oh, anyway sit down (taps next to him)
Amyra: Oh, thank you.
Amyra would have been sleepy so she accidentally falls asleep of Dhaksh's shoulder. Dhaksh was fine with it as he was busy admiring Amyra. When school was coming near Dhaksh taps on Amyra's hand and wakes her up.
Amyra: huh
Dhaksh: School is near, get ready to get down.
Amyra: Oh, thanks for waking me up. By the way, which section are you in?
Dhaksh: 6A, you?
Amyra:6B , we will have PE together again.
Dhaksh : This year I won't let you sit during PE period. You will have to play with me.
Amyra: Sure I will play.

Student Council Elections

Dhaksh and Amyra were nominated by their class teachers for junior head boy and junior head girl from Grade 6 and 4 others were also nominated. They had been called to the staff room to inform them about this.
Teacher: You bother are nominated for junior head boy and girl. So, you are supposed to make a speech about yourself and how you will help the school.
Amyra: Ma'am , I think that a speech may not attract many people to vote for us so I can make a poem instead and Dhaksh can rap.
Dhaksh: Yes ma'am I can rap.
Teacher: Not a bad idea , I will give you both time after lunch , complete your lunch, go to the library and make a poem and rap and show it to me by the end of the day.
Both: Yes ma'am
Both of them complete their lunch together and go to the library and make a poem and a rap. Both help each other and give suggestions to one another.
By the end of the day they show it to the teacher.
Teacher: Good job, both of you make a good team.
Both: Thank you Ma'am
Teacher: I want you to practice and sing it in front of the school tomorrow

Day After Tomorrow morning
Amyra was nervous as the entire school was present, even the Principal.
Dhaksh Sees that Amyra is tensed so slowly holds her hand.
Dhaksh: You will do well. Take a deep breath.
Amyra: Thank you
Then both of them did really well and both their poem and the reap ended with a big round of applause.

Then during lunch they went from class to class and asked people to vote for them.
The next few days everyone voted .

Results day

Amyra was very tense about if she would win or not. Then the coordinator came to Amyra's class and asked her to come outside.
Teacher :Congratulations , Junior Head Girl.
Amyra: Thank you ma'am.(She was squealing with happiness but then she remembered ) Ma'am who is Junior Head Boy?
Teacher: Dhaksh , he is not in class so can find where he is and tell him the news.
Amyra: Sure ma'am.
Amyra checks the BB court and then goes to the lab and sees Dhaksh sitting there listening to the teacher
Amyra: (Catching her breath as she was running) Ma'am can I borrow Dhaksh for a minute.
Teacher:  Yes  Dhaksh go Amyra is calling.
Dhaksh: What happened, why were you running?
Amyra's eyes were teary as she was very happy.
Dhaksh: OH, why are you crying?
Amyra: I became  Junior Head Girl and you are Junior Head Boy, Congratulations.
Dhaksh feels so happy that he hugs Amyra really tightly.
Amyra: Dhaksh I cannot breathe!
Dhaksh: Oh , sorry.
Amyra: No problem.
Dhaksh and Keethana had a lot of responsibility as they were now part of the student council. They entered the school morning assembly in lines and even while leaving school they had to make sure students leave in lines. They both leave together after all the students leave. Dhaksh used to crack jokes to see Amyra smile. Amyra used to help Dhaksh in his studies.

Few days before Independence Day or Amyra's Birthday

Leo: Ma'am can I borrow Amyra for a few minutes?
Teacher: Amyra go Leo sir is calling.
Amyra: Yes ma'am
After going out:
Leo: Can you sing on independence day?
Amyra: Yes sir
Leo: Ask Dhaksh if he also wants to perform on independence day. If yes then both of you come to the music room after having lunch.
Amyra: Yes sir.
After having lunch went to Dhaksh's class , but he wasn't there so she went to the BB court. He was shooting hoops.
Dhaksh:(In Dhaksh's mind : I think I like Amyra , she is SOOO cute, she is kind , I wanna keep seeing her)
Amyra: Dhaksh!
Dhaksh: Amyra
Amyra comes running toward him and accidentally slips so she falls on top of him and their faces will be very close. Both were looking into their eyes. Amyra realizes and gets up.
Amyra: Sorry Sorry (blushing)
Dhaksh:(happy and blushing)No problem
Amyra: Do you want to sing with me on  independence day?
Dhaksh: sure
Amyra: Then Leo sir told me to go to the music room and meet him.
Dhaksh: OK lets go.
Leo sir gives them the songs and the lyrics and tells them to practice and come and show him the next day after having lunch.
Leo: Come to the music room after having lunch and practice here daily.
Amyra: What about class sir?
Leo: From tomorrow after lunch everyone will decorate their classes so you will not miss anything.
Amyra: Oh , then fine sir.
Dhaksh and Amyra will come out. Amyra will be going to class then Dhaksh will hold her hand.
Dhaksh: We are near the cafeteria , we can buy juice and then go.
Amyra: I don't have money.
Dhaksh: I will buy
Amyra: Thank you
Dhaksh: No problem
Both will be drinking juice then Amyra's friend will pull her somewhere.
Dhaksh feels sad as he wanted to spend some time with Amyra.
Amyra: What happened?
Friend: Do you like Dhaksh?
Amyra: Yes , He is really nice and treats me well and looks handsome.
Friend: Why don't you confess , he clearly likes you too.
Amyra: I don't have guts but if he confesses I will say yes.
Meanwhile Dhaksh's friend sees him staring at you.
Friend: Dude you like Amyra.
Dhaksh: Yes , I do. But I don't know if she likes me.
Friend: If she apologizes for leaving you and going with her friend then she likes you. 
Dhaksh: Why do you say that?
Friend : If she apologizes then she cares for you and hence she likes you too. But when will you confess?
Dhaksh: I am going slow , so that I can make a good impression on her by the end of the year I will confess.

In the afternoon while going home:
Amyra: Sorry
Dhaksh: Why?
Amyra: I wanted to stay with you but my friend pulled me away. Thank you for the drink. I really enjoyed it.
Dhaksh:(Internally jumping with happiness as he understands that his feelings for her are mutual) Happy that you enjoyed it. By the way, when is your birthday?
Amyra:  Independence Day
Dhaksh: OHHH! Give me extra chocolate that day .
Amyra: ok, when is yours.
Dhaksh: One day after valentines day.
Amyra: OH cool.
