Right now, Mal and I were looking out over the ocean
"Clear over here, captain" I joke, looking through my binoculars at the ocean. She laughs a little before going straight faced again. Ben runs up behind us and wraps his arms around Mal. She screams a little from shock but then laughs
"Not a tentacle in sight..." She tells him, looking out at the water
"I think if Uma was up to something, we'd know by now" Ben sighs
"No, Ben... Trust us. We know how Villains think" I look at him, finally taking my eyes off the water
"I don't trust Uma, as far as I can throw her" Mal adds "She's gonna wait until our defences are down"
"And that's when she'll strike" I add
"I really wish I had time to go do the dragon flyover because I can go so much higher" She pouts, putting the binoculars back to her eyes. Ben moves them down again and smiles
"Well, you can't be everywhere at once. Besides, I've got your back" We all look up and see guards with telescopes, looking over the water. I laugh a little and look back at Ben and Mal "Now, come on, everyone's waiting for us" He puts his arm around her but Mal frowns
"Wait. But you're getting more guards?" She asks
"I'm getting more guards. Now breath" He laughs. They both take a deep breath and walk off together. A smirk forms on my face, knowing what's about to happen. I run and take a shortcut to the front of the school so Mal doesn't suspect anything. I run into Carlos and he smiles
"Hey, Princess" He bows
"Hello, my love" I laugh, curtsying. He takes my hand and I look him up and down "You look so handsome right now" I smirk, kissing him. He returns it and puts his hand on my lower back
"Break it up, lovebirds. Mal and Ben are nearly here" Jay laughs. Carlos and I pull away and he smiles at me
"You look beautiful too" He gives me another quick kiss before we get ready in our positions.
"Is that Audrey?" I whisper to him, looking over at her
"Yeah..." He whispers back
"I didn't even realise she came back from summer school" I laugh
"Yeah, Chad went to pick her up before Cotillion because she broke down. That's why he's beside her" He rolls his eyes and I smile
"Wow, it's been that long since Cotillion and I haven't even realised the Prissy Princess was back" I groan "Why did she come back. No one likes her. I could just-"
"Play nice" He smirks
"I am" I wink

"Here they come!" Evie squeals. The band starts playing and Ben and Mal walk past the beasts Statue. Everyone cheers and waves at the couple. They walk to the front and stand on top of a podium. Mal walks a little too far and FG stops her
"Stay" FG laughs
"Oh! Stay here?" Mal asks
"Yes" FG nods. Mal moves back to stand in the middle of the podium with Ben. They both wave at everyone with smiles on their faces "Bibbidi-Bobbidi, one, two, one, two. Can everybody here me?" FG tests the mic. Everyone cheers, signalling they can hear her
"Yes!" I shout and Carlos and some other people laugh. FG passes the mic to Ben
"Thank you, Fairy Godmother" Ben smiles "What's up, Auradon?!" Everyone cheers again and waves flags "Thank you! Thank you so much for coming out to welcome our new arrivals! They'll be here soon!" I see Audreys grandmother whisper to her and I frown. My eyes glow red and I listen in. The echo of what she said reaches my ear
