I was home alone when all of a sudden the tornado drill goes off for the following counties. Hudson County, Macon County, Hugh County. The news reporter said to keep low and get as far as we can from any kind of windows. I'm freaking out because my parents are in town gathering up some things we needed at the house. My brother is out with his girlfriend, an I'm home by myself not knowing what to do, where to go.. Minutes pass and the tornado still hasn't came, so I'm thinking all this will blow over. A few seconds later I hear my phone ring I run to it and thank the lord it's my dad, he told me to go to the underground cellar we have in our back yard, an for me to run as fast as I can. I do as my dad tells me and I make it. He tells me there rushing home as fast as they can go. I'm in this cellar it doesn't smell all that great, there's a few spiders here an there. I'm sitting there wishing my parents to hurry up and get here. I them here car doors twenty minutes later and thank gosh it's them. They come down and sit with me. They made it just in time because the storm came not even five minutes later. All we here is stuff being thrown around it's pure dark can't see anything, the cellar door is flopping around like its nothing! I'm crying because I'm terrified and wanting this to be over asap!!
******one hour later******
A complete hour past and the storm is over. I didn't ever think it was going to end to tell you the truth. We come out and it's a hot mess.. Our house is completely gone, I'm crying because I had valuable things in there that can't be replaced. My parents are telling me it'll be fine and that we are getting another house and I could get things close to what I lost. I kinda cheered up, but not much. So we go walking down the street an there's this little black pup under a piece of tin roofing, I run to it and get the tin off of the poor thing. I think it's back leg might be fractured, I asked to keep him because he has no collar. We keep walking and it only gets worse. My school is destroyed(I'm thinking great!). Then one of my great friends come out of nowhere and start walking and talking to us about the storm. "You know that was quite scary, don't ya think?" Melody asked. "It was the scariest thing I've even been through" I reply back to her. We keep walking a little longer, eventually we go get a hotel until we can get a home again. This hotel suck to be honest, boring, stinks. But at least we're safe from predators and bad people outside.
