"This way sir."
Bang Christopher Chan - the most fearsome South Korea's mafia leader. No one in the underground world didn't flinch at the mere mention of his name. Although some used his real name, many referred to him as White Wolf. The main reason for it was a tattoo of a snow-white wolf he had on his left shoulder blade. Another reason was his white-greyish hair.
He was known across the whole country as the most strict and ruthless leader. Some rumours said that he killed Stray Wolves - the mafia group he had created when he was barely 17 - members who rebelled against him, showing them no more mercy than his enemies.
The White Wolf was an attractive but lethal man whose features could deceive. There was a saying that if his dimples showed during a fight his opponent was to die.
Chan smirked when he entered the main hall of an old warehouse where a beaten and a confined middle-aged man was kneeling on the dusty concrete. He stepped closer to him and, looking down at him, he put his hands in his slacks pockets.
"Barking dog not so loud anymore, huh? Look at you kneeling before me like a tame pet," he mocked. The man didn't dare to look him in the eyes. He sensed the sheer rage underneath the mafia leader's ridiculing voice.
"You sure did have the audacity to kill one of my men," Chan gritted not concealing his true emotions anymore. His every word was sharp and hair-raising. His eyes shone with bloodthirst. "You know there's a price to pay. A life for a life," he added and took out a gun he kept behind his back.
The man watched in horror as the gun was being pointed at him. He began to babble in panic but Chan had made up his mind a long time ago to avenge his man. The moment his index finger made the contact with the cold trigger, his phone suddenly went off.
Chan knew the caller just by the ringtone but he decided not to pick it up for the time being. He waited till it went silent and he focused on the man in front of him again. His finger adjusted on the trigger and he flashed the man a dimply smile.
"Say hi to the devil for me," he said and was about to fire the gun when one of his men - a tall blond with a mole under one of his eyes - entered alarmed with a phone in his hand.
Chan sent him a death glare. "What the fuck Hwang?" he muttered irritated. The said man closed the distance between them in a few brisk steps and bowed.
"I'm sorry sir but it's urgent. Your husband is calling," he explained and showed him the caller's ID. The leader's face fell.
"And you picked up?!" he whisper-yelled at the man who only nodded gulping in fear.
Chan took the phone from him and swallowed hard. "Yes, baby?"
"Don't 'yes baby' me, Christopher. Where the fuck are you?" the furious male's voice echoed through the old warehouse.
"Darling, you know I'm at work..." he replied in a small voice. The man on the cold ground couldn't believe his ears and eyes. Was the Stray Wolves leader submitting to someone? The ruthless White Wolf?
You see, there was one person who was more fearsome than Bang Christopher Chan. Bang Changbin - his 9 months pregnant ferocious husband. If Chan was fire then Changbin was flames straight from hell. The 5'6" man was the only one Chan feared in the world, whereas the members of Stray Wolves were sure he was the devil himself.
"Are you beating up punks again?! Never mind, you have 5 minutes to come home and if you are late I'll whip your ass," Changbin threatened.
Chan shivered at the mere thought, while the blond snickered secretly. "Bin, darling, why the h-hurry?" the leader stuttered.
"I'm giving birth, you dumb mutt," he replied sounding even more irritated. Chan's eyes went wide and he dropped his gun. "5 minutes, Christopher. Oh, and tell Hyunjin I will cut his hair in his sleep for laughing," he said and finished the call.
"Darling? Darling!" the leader shouted frantically.
"Sir..." Hyunjin almost cried from being scared to death by his husband. He knew Changbin too well to not fear for his life after hearing the words.
The man on the ground looked even more petrified. "What the hell... is he the devil?" he asked.
Both men in the room turned to him and answered simultaneously.
"Yes."
Bang Christopher Chan was the most fearsome South Korea's mafia leader but Bang Changbin was the most fearsome husband.
