CHAPTER EIGHT

That morning I slept in late minus well because school starts in a couple of weeks. It was nearly 11:00 am. I didn't feel like doing anything . I took a shower and then headed downstairs .

"Hey haze" Luke says not looking away from the TV.

"Hi whatcha watching ?" I ask tilting my head a little.

"It's a new movie called fury it's really good you should watch it sometime." He informs me.

I thought maybe I will since I have nothing better to do. "Alright I will later though. Hey do you wanna come hang out with me today? Just me and you."

"Okay " he says turning the tv off and then putting on his shoes.

"Dad gave me some spending money so we can go to the mall . " I said to him.

He said "alright I'll take moms keys ." Ruffling through her purse. " I'm sure she won't mind. " thinking to myself but if she does I'll just text her and let her know.

As soon as we get there I head straight for the smoothie stand , ordering my favorite , piña colada. Luke had gotten Hawaiian breeze that included strawberries and coconut milk. It sounded good I wanted some. Luke found us a table while I paid. Sitting down he gets up to through something away. I quickly sneak a sip.

"Hey! I saw that ." He laughs

I giggled "sorry, it's just so good ."I whinnied for more .

It turned out he liked mine too, so we ended up sharing the two smoothies between each other it was delicious. Next we went to the book store I told Luke I needed a new book a very specific one at that no other book store had . To my surprise they had it! I was so happy.

Luke wanted to go to under armor to get new t-shirts for soccer , plus I need new headbands for track. We play sports for companies other than school sports . When we were just leaving my phone rang. RING!! RING!! It was Dilan.

"Hi dil!" I say trying to sound happy to hear his voice not trying to remember what happened the day so far my day was going good .

"Hi Hazel . Can we meet up later ? I want to talk to you. " he ask.

Talk to m about what ? I questioned myself. "Um sure where do you want to?"

"How about the park at 5? Is that alright?" He ask making sure it was fine.

"Yeah thats fine , but I have Luke with me." Assuring him.

"That's alright he can come with." He said

"Okay we will meet you there." Luke turns to me and mouths the words go where ?

"Until then beautiful." Dilan says sounding happy .

I smile and say "until then" and then hang up.

"Go where ? With who? " Luke questions looking a little confused .

I told him "that was Dilan he said he wanted to meet up at the park to talk to me."

"Talk to you about what ? " he asks.

"I'm not really sure ." I shrug it off and finish saying to him " hey why don't we finish shopping and then we will start heading over okay?"

"Okay." He said.

We left the mall with bags in our hands . You could say we had a good day and now we were headed to the park to meet Dilan .
