A raucous person shouted through the phone, thrilled to share news he had recently learned. "You don't have to be so loud, Atsumu.. And for your information, the guerrilla warfare does not include humans battling with.... gorillas.. Where'd you even learn that anyway?"
"History class, duh?"
"Hah! You really are an idiot, Tsumu~"
"Shut 'yer trap, Samu! It's not like you're anymore smarter than me, hmph!"
"Sure I am, ask Y/N-kun. He's on the phone isn't he? Go on-"
"-BAAAHHH!! Shut it, 'kay?! I don't wanna hear anymore comin' out 'yer mouth! Now go, shoo!"
Y/N: "Are you both done bickering? I'll drop the phone if you have no more business with me. I still have to prepare for school."
Atsumu: "AGHH!! WAIT! I called for something! hol' up, would'cha!? It's not like I called you for no reason.." He sassed, unable to see the unimpressed expression that was withheld by your face.
'This guy.. no, this idiot.. he called me and discussed a random historical topic first thing in the morning, and it was falsely about humans battling with gorillas? And he says it's not like he called me for no reason.. is he kidding?!.'
Atsumu: "I read Volleyball weekly!" He exclaimed all of a sudden as if he was some little kid.
"Okay, and?"
Atsumu: "What'cha mean 'and?!' 'Ya supposed to know what I'm talkin' about, right? Aren't'cha Mr. All-knowing anyway, Hah!"
Y/N: "Atsumu.."
Atsumu: "Alright! I was joking. Anyway, listen to this. Sendai City Gymnasium under a silence of awe after Karasuno High School's Y/N L/N ruthlessly destroys, destroys, it says destroys!- Tokonami High through the first set with service, but takes a devastating leg-breaker during the match with Date Tech High..."
Y/N: "Isn't that one of the magazine headlines?"
Atsumu: "Yeah! How frickin' cool is that?! You've finally decided to make a name for yourself! And you made the headlines! It's about damn time!"
"Don't get mistaken. I didn't plan on making a name for myself. I was simply curious, and this whole fiasco just ushered in with that curiosity.."
Atsumu: "Pfft! That's the most... un-straightforward thing I've ever heard you say!"
Y/N: "Un-straightforward is not an appropriate word. Evasive is what I'd suggest."
Atsumu: "AGHH!! Shut 'yer trap, Y/N-kun! I don't need anymore lecturing, studyin' makes me sick! And don't change the subject, how many serves did 'ya make?! The magazine doesn't say.."
"I practically took the first set, so around 25, I guess..."
Atsumu: "WHAT?! Now 'ya just joking with me.. There's no way anybody could've done anything like that. What are ya' tryna say? 'Ya better than me now?!"
