A straight-A student is introduced to a device that creates a space where anything is possible, just them and their imagination.

'"You think you have a good imagination, ay?" a voice from behind me whispered in my ear. I turned my head to see Iesha standing closely standing behind me. I paused a moment shocked by how close her body was to my own, "well yeah, but it doesn't matter that much." I shrugged and looked back to the table to ignore her strange behaviour, but I could still feel her presence on my back, "better... than me?"'

Foreshadowing:

Genre: Fiction

Damien has been captured for many months and finally uses his ability to escape.

'The cold air was biting at his wounds and drying his wet clothes. He stood atop one of the snowy mountains, calmly watching as the base collapsed into itself. The snow surrounding it fell and buried the remnants of the building, absorbing the sound of metal crashing. It almost looked like the snowy valley was swallowing it whole.'

A gang leader helps an old lady across the road on the way to the location of another gang leader. It was their final target, or at least they thought...
