Thrillipede x Reader collection

Blueberry pie

(Some things, you are a gender neutral bug, although not specified, you're smaller than Thrillipede. You're also his old friend in this fic, going back as far as high school.)

You opened the kitchen window, letting the fresh spring breeze go through into the kitchen. Taking the pie out of the oven, you set it on the counter in front of the window, and went outside to harvest new produce from your garden. You picked new tomatoes from the large plant, tossing the old ones into the soft woods that was beside your small cottage. It was several years after the war, and you still couldn't forget how much you loved your close friend and colleague, Thrillipede. You didn't know where he went after, he promised to keep in contact with you. However, with what happened months ago with the sky eater, it's safe to say he was busy. You sighed and continued the harvest, placing your tomatoes and lettuce in a wooden basket to carry inside. You thought about going into town today, but was stopped when you saw a familiar face. You quickly placed your basket on the porch and waved over to the tall man, who was happy to see you.
"Thrillipede! It's nice to see you again!"
You jogged over, he seemed older than he truly was, and more tired.
"It's nice to see you again, Y/N."
He said, he had a warm smile on his face, making you fall in love again.
"How are you? I'm sorry I wasn't able to get into contact with you after... everything... but I became a Skylander."
You nodded, happy he was well.
"Well, I'm doing alright, I'm glad you're alright too."
He chuckled, you then had an idea. Invite him over for some pie and sweet tea, maybe you can become friends again.
"Well, I do want to catch up with you, if you're ok with that."
He said,
"Oh of course! It's also good timing because I have a blueberry pie cooling off in my kitchen right now."
He seemed happy, maybe excited. You led him into your kitchen, carrying the veggie basket with you. Placing the basket on the counter, you took the sweet pie and put it on the table, and he somehow located the plates and forks, placing one of each for the two of you. You got out a knife to cut it with, until realizing the pie was almost cool enough. You decided to take out some sweet tea and two cups, finally sitting down with him.
"So what brings you here?"
You asked, he already shoved a fork full of pie in his mouth,
"Oh I was talking a walk to find some herbs, I tried to stay far away because I didn't know who lived here at first."
You nodded before taking a bit from your piece, the pie was great, mixing lavender syrup with the blueberries was a great idea. He seemed really happy with it too,
"So how've you been?"
He asked, you looked up, trying your best to not spit out your feelings for him,
"It's been ok, I've been trying to handle myself after the.. war, and I learned how to make my garden self producing all year."
You felt his warm emerald eyes focused on one spot on your face, he gave a warm smile.
"That's great, I'm glad you're ok."
He responded, it felt like he was focusing on your lips.
"So what about you?"
You asked the larger bug, he seemingly snapped back to reality,
"O-oh, I've been made a Skylander after the war, Buzz also works at the academy, which isn't far from here. We've been really busy after everything, you know... about the rifts.."
You nodded, listening to him, he sounds really tired. You two sat in awkward silence eating, the spring breeze going through the kitchen. One of you had to make a move because Thrillipede also has been pining for you. He piped up,
"You're a great baker, what did you use?"
Swallowing, you said,
"I made some lavender syrup from some fresh lavender, and used it in the filling."
He nodded,
"It's just as sweet as you."
He blurted out, his cheeks turned red before he turned his head away. You felt yourself blush, and smile,
"I'd say the same, but you beat me to it."
A big smile cracked both of your faces, and then dumb giggles.
"Shit, you're bad at flirting Y/N, taking my idea~"
He giggled more, turning back to you,
"Well you shouldn't be so cheesy!"
You reached across the table to lightly tap his forehead but he grabbed your hands and kissed them, sighing into them.
"Heh, you're just as adorable as you were in high school."
You blushed and got out of your seat, walking over to him. He let go of your hands and abruptly got up,
"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't-"
You softly shushed him,
"Don't worry, if you're into me then say so."
He held your hands, he was very warm.
"I- I do love you, I just don't know if... you actually love me back."
He started to slightly panic,
"I love you too, I was also afraid that you didn't like me back."
You said, he tensed up, his grip on your hands tightening.
"But what if-"
You pulled him down and kissed him, softly wrapping your arms around his neck. He slowly relaxed and wrapped his arms around you, leading in. He seemed to lift you up onto his lap as he sat in the chair, the man was incredibly warm.
"I'm glad you feel the same way, I felt like you didn't want to be with me because of... everything really."
He's extremely nervous to upset you, keeping a tight hold on you, he sighed.
"You're always welcomed here any time, my dear."
He smiled at what you said,
"Thank you."
You two stayed like that for most of the afternoon, he seemed to love giving you attention, softly kissing your face, before you could get one on him.

You two ended up as a happy couple, nobody knew when this happened, but it's now a thing. The team and Buzz are happy for the two of you, and is very supportive. Also you found out that your cottage was near the academy so Thrillipede can live with you and also be at the academy.

Idk if you want to do anything else with him, some people don't really want kids while others would like to have kids, some people are ace/demi (like me!) but others aren't, so it's going to stay like this.
