Montana's POV

One hour before we're supposed to be leaving for lunch, and I haven't seen Zeus again. But that doesn't stop me from trying to figure out what my first appearance as his girlfriend is supposed to be. I'm dressed how he wants me to be, and my hair and makeup look fairly well if I do say so myself.

The problem is that I know absolutely nothing about Zeus. I don't know anything about him, about his life, and family situation a bit, but him actually telling me anything is not there. How am I supposed to pretend like I want to be with him when someone asks me a question and I can't answer it?

So I finish my work up a bit early before walking out of my office and down the hallway to the doors of his to see Charles. "Hi, Charles" I smile as he nods back. "Is Zeus in a meeting?" I ask as he shakes his head no.

"Not right now, he doesn't have any the rest of the day," he tells me as I nod. "Can I get in? Please?" I ask as he steps out of the way. I knock before opening his door. He's not at his desk, he's sitting on his couch in the corner sipping on a cup of water while reading through some things.

"Hey" I smile walking in at least to try and make him smile back as he looks at his items. "Hello" he answers back while looking down as I round the couch and sit on the opposite side.

"I think we need to talk," I tell him as he puts his work down. "Speak" he demands as I glare at him. "We don't really know much about each other and I think it's best if we do a bit so that when people ask us questions we have the same answers," I tell him as he nods.

"I agree on some of that," he answers as I nod. "Right, so what's the storyline of how we met? How long have we been together and are we in love?" I ask him taking the notepad off his desk and a pen to start writing.

"Four months ago, at a coffee shop?" he asks as I nod and then shake my head no, "I just moved here I don't know how my family would believe that," I answer. "If they ask just say we met at the coffee shop when you moved here, when others ask, it's been four months," he answers.

"That's good, maybe you bought my cup of coffee or something?" I ask as he nods staring over at me as I lean down writing. I look up and push my hair over my shoulder exposing my neck as he continues looking. He gazes up and then abruptly looks away.

"Okay, so I was at a coffee shop after my daily run, and you were there to get coffee before work. You bought my cup of coffee and I wanted to thank you, we started talking and hit it off?" I ask him as he nods.

"What coffee shop?" I ask as he sighs and pulls out his phone. "I don't know I don't drink coffee" he answers. "That's good, we can tell people you saw me running and liked me so you followed me in. We need to find a shop with a park or running trails close so it's believable." I answer back pulling out my own cell phone to look. "The Lakefront Path works, we'll say that one," he answers after a few minutes, I simply nod agreeing.

"We talked for a few months and you were applying for jobs, you never told me which until you started working here and met me. We can say that I never told you who I was," he tells me as I nod. This is so good, it's all believable.

"Good, but there's one more thing," I whisper looking at my hands. I've thought about this, people expect us to be a couple. And couples show affection. We don't show affection when we can't be in the same room without arguing or him touching me.

"You know we have to hold hands right? Show affection?" I ask him as he glares at me.

"No, we don't." He spits out as I sigh. "Zeus you've never been in a relationship but holding hands and affection is part of that. If you want them to believe this is real you need to make it seem like you actually like me." I insist as he sighs.
