Chapter 1 - End Of Term

Its the last day of term before the summer, everyone is practically on the edge of their seats. As for me, I'm not as enthusiastic about summer.

Its the same thing every year, sitting by the pool, visiting theme parks, small carnivals and parades around the city, and the trips to the beach. But the only thing on my mind is running home tonight with my money that i have been saving for over a year to buy a ticket to Minecon.

My best friend Court and i have been saving up together and the tickets go on sale tonight, and its the first time that Minecon has actually been hosted in California. What i am most excited for, is meeting The Cube.

My fingers type frantically as i compose a new tweet. I'm very excited to announce to my followers that i will be going to Minecon.

'@Kiimtong : I just managed to buy two tickets to Minecon which means Court and i will be going! I'm so excited to see you all!'

I send the tweet quickly and click Skype, hitting the call button on Court and I's chat. She answers almost immediately.

'COURT WE ARE GOING TO MINECON IN A MONTH DO YOU HEAR ME DYING!' I scream and her eyes go wide as she begins to scream with me.

'DID YOU SERIOUSLY GET US TICKETS KIM OH MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!' She shouts, 'THAT MEANS WE MEET IN UNDER A MONTH!'

'We also get to meet The Cube guys, that's pretty awesome too!' I add, both of us are now smiling so much.

Court and i talk all night about what we are going to do and how we are going to get there, and we decide that we will leave in a week so we can experience all of the parades and carnivals that we can and enjoy our summer.
