+ Prologue +

The sound of humming filled the wind's delightful, cold breeze as it passes through the bushes and leaves on the trees, which makes them, too, sing with shifting movements. The brushing wafts into the air, flowing gently as it travels as fast as sound itself can, and it twists and turns before going through the ears of a humming female thats simply passing through.

Her hair bounces with each step underneath that straw hat of hers, and happily swings her arms about. Confusion enters the reader's body. Why is a female wondering through the woods at such a time? And just what could have been oh so important that she needed to go out so late?

The girl's humming goes to a stop as crunching sounds from behind her. She scouts out the area with a confused noise that leaves her lips. "I wonder what that was." She says to herself. No one other than her should be out at this time of day—especially not where she and her grandmother lives. No one besides them should even be living out this far from the city of Liyue.

"I guess it was nothing!" She shrugs, before smiling once more and continuing on her happily ever way. The girl goes oblivious to the noises behind her, and there behind a tree appears what seems to be a Cryo Abyss Mage. The being cackles, and it's evil laughter fills the silent night's air. "I've found her!" It says in that high pitched voice. "The one who's rumored to have such terrifying strength! A mere innocent girl who has no idea of what is to happen to her soon!" The being speaks once more, before it shortly teleports away.

The innocent girl continues to hum as she sways her head side to side. "Hmm mhm hm!" She goes, unaware of the demonic creature that now floats gently behind her. It makes not a noise, and it slowly begins to create it's attack by waving that tiny wand. This is my chance!, it thinks evilly, before jerking the wand forward and sending the attack dashing at a quick speed to her back. It bounces for joy as it watches.

You will be mine!

A smile rises to the girls' lips, and just before the attack can even graze the clothing on her back, her body glows green. The Abyss Mage chokes out a gasp as the attack shatters upon impact, and the girl slowly turned herself around to face it. Her eyes burn with innocence, yet deep within them are a glow no ordinary teenage girl her age would have. Her lips soon curl into a pout.

"That's not fair, you know. You tried to take me off guard!"

W- What?!

The Abyss Mage is flabbergasted, and watches as she points at him in a childish manner. This wasn't right! Not at all! She was supposed to be on the ground nearly dying from that attack! Just how could she have known?! "I even waited for you to attack me head on, fair and square!" She whines, but then slowly goes back into position. She raises one of her arms up, and circles it around as she begins to stretch. "But.." A lowly smirk rises upon her lips.

"This.. will do just as well."

Before the Abyss Mage can even blink, the girl is already flying towards it at an incredible speed! The Abyss Mage reacts quickly and puts up it's shield, but pauses in utter fear when the girl giggles. She widens her eyes, which in turn, shrinks her pupils to bits. "That.. won't work at all, you know?" The Abyss Mage says not a word because of how quickly the barrier was shattered upon just one of her measly little punches. It cries out in pain as it's body is sent straight to the ground.

The girl rises from her landing position, and stalks to the now cowering mage. "W- Wait! Wait!" It begs for her mercy—her forgiveness, and that is what makes her pause. The mage notices her hesitancy, and uses it to it's advantage. I- I have to get away! She'll kill me at this rate! "I- I apologize! I'm sorry for trying to- to harm you!" It bows pathetically, and the girl can only blink. It nearly craps himself. Just what was she going to do next? Her punch alone was able to destroy it's barrier, and just thinking about what a kid would do made it's head hurt even more.
