"y/n is a band mate of Robbie Arnette and may or may not meet her soulmate, but you know sometimes soulmates are never meant to be."
It was opening night at the Ball and Chain bar and the band Milo Green were preparing to perform their song, Autumn Tree. The velvet red curtains reveal a group of five members, 2 girls and 3 boys. The first boy Graham Fink was on the keys, Curtis Mario and Marlena Sheetz were on the bass guitars, y/n/y/l/n was on the drums and co-lead singer and Robbie Arnette was the lead singer.
"y/n's perspective"
Before the band is about to play a middle-aged woman approaches my band mate Robbie. She was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Her piercing emerald sent butterflies into my stomach. The way she talked; the way she walked; the way she spoke it was all so mesmerising. She looks just like a dream.
After making a complete fool of myself I decided to build up the nerve to introduce myself. I walked up to the pair. "Oh Lizzie you must meet y/n she is definitely my favourite band member!" Robbie said enthusiastically. Lizzie giggles "I'm Elizabeth nice to meet you y/n" the way she said my name I felt like I was on cloud nine, but I snapped back into reality. "Nice to meet you, Elizabeth, and how do you know this troublemaker over here?" I said with the slightest bit of sarcasm in my tone. "You can call me Lizzie, and I'm Robbie's fiancé" she states. I swallowed the massive lump in my throat. "Oh? Fiancé" I questioned.
Turns out that Lizzie and Robbie have been engaged for 2 months now. So there goes my shot. Down. The. Drain. I just decided to play it off because that's what I do best. We lined up behind the curtains and got ready to perform.
The sound of the bass guitar strumming echo's through the bar.
The band begins to play: Autumn Trees- Milo green
"Under the autumn tree the chair where you would swing A yard so full of leaves Comfort me A man that resembles me Watching his young lady sleep Now, I'm off to dream Comfort me Is this my old shape, my mind is away..."
The song continues through the bar people slow dancing to the beat of the drums.
Lizzie's Perspective
I felt lonely when I saw all the couples slowing dancing together. It was just me alone with my thoughts at this point. Robbie had dragged me out to see this concert. Now don't get me wrong I love Robbie, but I've been to heaps of these already and don't see the point of me being here. Although I couldn't help but think about how stunning y/n was and I can't believe how I've never met her, maybe its just a me thing but she's giving me a little bit of a gay vibe.
I decided to clear my thoughts and go grab a drink. As I was heading over to the water station a older man approached me. He started asking me friendly questions and then they started to get a bit invasive. He offered me a drink, but I had to politely decline but he kept insisting on it and started touching me inappropriately. Robbie was all caught up in the music and didn't notice me. I slowly backed away from the older man until he grabbed my wrist, and I couldn't pull away. I thought this was it there was nothing I could do until everything dropped into silence and y/n's voice bellowed through the bar "LET GO OF HER YOU CREEP, SECURITY!" security came rushing over to me and they took the older man away. The concert continued as I was kept a close eye on by y/n.
