I don't deserve you, Koyuki. || Koyuki x Hakuji / Akaza

Her Side

"Koyuki, I swear to protect you with all my heart."
The man with black hair and black tattoos on his arm said.

And the visuals went black.

A sudden scene was shown to the dreamer.

"KOYUKI! NO... NO!! D-DONT LEAVE ME! KEIZO, KOYUKI! PLEASE... JUST DONT LEAVE ME! IM SORRY! I WASN'T THERE! I-... We promised to go watch the fireworks Koyuki, remember? Please... Dear God, please ... If we every meet again, we can watch the fireworks. I-I promise Koyuki! Please ..."
The man yelled leaving the dreamer confused.

"I don't deserve a sweet, kind girl like you." Said a version of the same man but with different colors.

"Koyuki. I'm trying my best to find the reincarnation of you. I'm trying...  So please, try to find me too."

The dreamer's eyes widened as the dreamer wakes up.

"Huh?"

Koyuki is a girl who used to be highschool classmates with Gyutaro. It was no surprise to her that she woke up crying. She did not know the full past. But her dreams tried to explain it to her, but she didn't understand any of the dream's visuals. The only thing she understood was that the man loved her, and she loved the man too.

"Find me too?" Koyuki asked herself. She held her diary close to her chest and laid down at bed, she started considering on trying to find him. She started liking the man, even though she hasn't met his reincarnated form yet. She loved him for his personality that was showed in her dreams. She loved everything about him. She wanted to meet him, she wanted to comfort him. Koyuki still lives with her parents. Weirdly enough, her father is named Keizo, the same name her past father was given. Koyuki loves sketching, so she came up with an idea. She grabbed her sketch book and started sketching the man from memory. "Hmm... I want to know your name..." Koyuki said, as she heard a whisper of the man in her head. "My name is Hakuji" Koyuki's eyes widened as she was shocked by the response in her head. She grabbed her sketch book again and put his name on the drawing.

"Oh Hakuji, you seem like such a nice man... And so polite!" Koyuki said as she blushes a bit. "Maybe someday, or maybe even today! Maybe I can meet you." Koyuki hopes that she will get to meet Hakuji soon enough. Koyuki checks her phone and scrolls through her calls. She sees "Gyutaro" on one of them and calls him so that she can greet him. She calls him in a middle of eating pizza that Hakuji payed for(part 1). "Dude! Koyuki's calling me!" Gyutaro immediately says. As Hakuji becomes excited and tells him to answer her. "Hello Gyutaro!" Koyuki greets him through the phone. "Hello Koyuki! Remember when you told me about the dreams in highschool?" Gyutaro mentioned as Koyuki said yes. "I actually work with him now, he's been having the same dreams as you." Gyutaro mentions and Koyuki freaks out and says; "KYAAAA!! I CAN FINALLY MEET HAKUJI!" while unmuted, when she finds out she wasn't muted she apologizes, she requests Gyutaro to talk to him and Gyutaro says yes.

Gyutaro hands over his phone to Hakuji.
"H-hello Hakuji!" Koyuki greets him nervously. "Hello, Koyuki" Hakuji greets her back and giggles. "WaNn- I mean Wanna meet up somewhere?" Koyuki offers as Hakuji agrees. "Let's meet up at Sakura park!" Koyuki excitedly suggests, "oh sure, I can also tell you more details about my dreams. Also I'm currently eating pizza with Gyutaro and Ume, so maybe later. But maybe let's have each-other's phone numbers." Hakuji offers as Koyuki agrees. They get each-other's phone numbers and Gyutaro ends the call and continues eating.

Koyuki hugs her pillow as she tells her parents about the news. Her parents seem to be happy for her and they let her go to the park. After Gyutaro, Ume, Hakuji finishes eating, Hakuji texts her that he's done eating and he'll just change. Koyuki replies with "okay!". Both change and they end up meeting at the park. "Hello, Koyuki." Hakuji greets her with a soft tone as Koyuki blushed that she forgot to greet him back. "Oh! I uh- SORRYYYY! But hellooo!!!" Koyuki replies as Hakuji chuckles. "Shall I tell my dreams?" Hakuji asks as Koyuki nods. "I usually dream about you and our past promises. I think it's reminding me to fulfill those promises in this life. I've also been dreaming of your past life's death." Hakuji explains as Koyuki listens in. "I-i dream about you, and I dream about you and I watching the fireworks! And I once dreamt of you with different colors? And with the work "uppermoon 3" in your eyes! But I also dreamt of you crying because of my death..." Koyuki explains.

"Moving on, I actually bought this for you just in case we ever meet." Hakuji says, as he gets a hairpin from his pocket.

Hakuji puts it in her hair as Koyuki blushed and thanks him. "You look beautiful as ever, Koyuki." Hakuji says, "O-Oh! Thanks... Y-you're handsome too!" Koyuki replies.
"Koyuki-san... I promise, I promise to go watch fireworks with you soon. After all, you did love fireworks, am I right?" Hakuji mentions "yep! And I still do!" Koyuki answers.

"Koyuki" Hakuji calls her, "yes, Hakuji-san?" Koyuki asks curiously. "Do you want to fulfill our past promises?" Hakuji asks, "hmmm... Maybe? But the thing is, I want to focus on the present promises, not the past. I want to focus on my- no, OUR future!" Koyuki says. "but for now, let's get to know each-other more, alright?" Hakuji requests as Koyuki agrees.

....

But.

Hakuji could still feel the guilt. When he hugged her, he started to cry and hug her back tightly. "I-i- know we're supposed to focus on the present. But... I-i- I'm sorry that I wasn't able to protect you back then... I'm sorry for becoming such a monster. I-I'm sorry." Hakuji admits as Koyuki reassures him that it's alright.

"It's alright Hakuji-san! After all, the past is the past. And I will still love you, no matter what happens!"
