In a room warmly lit by the outside, it is filled with the bustling of colorful men and women of ages 17 and 20. Though all the robes worn by them are in black, there is a distinct line of color shown on their hoods and a symbol filled in the same color placed on the back of their robes. The most numerous of the colors seen in this room are green and red. Others, though in less numbers, are purple and blue. The rarest is, of course, white (Author's note: like why not, shrug, every otome book...).
In the far left corner sits the dark blue-haired Prince of the Shulani Kingdom discussing with a natural tan long black hair youth with glasses. As they discuss their schedule for the week, they would glance at times to the far right corner.
"He's at it again," says the black hair lad as he scowls in disdain at the public flirting.
"Yes, indeed... thankfully the Princess hasn't reacted... much," replies Prince Octavius as he draws a circle filled with bits of mana on his dragon egg with his cool golden tone hand.
"Though I'm preparing myself to be your ambassador, your highness, I'm aware that I should be leaning toward the peace between our comrades. However, there's a small part of me that wishes for a certain someone to be tossed head first into a muddy pig filled pit."
Instead of approving or disapproving, the prince instead smiles at him and says, "Juan Pierre, your sadistic tendencies are showing." Ignoring the implication, the lad is now cleaning his glasses rather than stare in disgust at the lively show.
"Oh please your highness, to be a sadist towards him, I would first have had to like him."
Sighing, the Prince goes back to leaning his head on his other hand and mutters, "that explains why your fiance can be seen crying in frustration sometimes."
Placing his glasses back onto his forest green eyes, Juan Pierre frowns at the mention of his fiance. "That is not like, that is because she's been ignored...." He then proceeds to rub some mana onto his reddish colored dragon egg.
"Speaking of fiances, how is Lady Lilian doing?" he asks.
The Prince's smile freezes a little, "well, she certainly appears healthy...", "and clingy" he mutters into his hand at the end.
"I beg to differ, your fiance cherishes you so she must feel that she has to look after your health," says Juan Pierre as his glasses give off a gleam.
"Why do I sense delight in your tone?" responds Prince Octavius as he now scowls at his future Ambassador.
"Oh my, I'm sorry dear Prince if it sounded that way, but I truly am quite happy that our future Queen is so... proactive about you.. your health that is."
Leaning back with a slight tilt to his head, Ocatavius' sky blue eyes draw into an appreciable squint as he gives him a gentle unnerving smile, "I'll be sure to let Lady Amelia know that you like those traits."
Feeling like choking on his spit, Pierre quickly rubs his nose and laughs silently back, "touche Prince."
Their discussion becomes interrupted by a loud husky laughter.
At the far right corner a familiar reddish brown hair youth is sitting brazingly on top of another student's desk while coquettishly smiling at his flowers (aka female students).
Unfortunately, for a certain silently fuming champagne blonde elf girl, that desk belongs to one of the brat's followers who unfortunately sits near her .
She, the mentioned elf, was sitting surrounded by two warriors and a much younger looking elf. Like the humans, this group of elves are holding their dragon eggs in a pouch placed in front of them. Unlike the human, these elves held onto what was like an invisible line between their group and the others, thus appearing as if they are too superior to interact with the lesser species.
