Prologue

In 2075, after the wars between Azur Lane and the Sirens, and between Griffin & Kryuger and the Sangvis Ferri ended, new weapon technology was developed which made the current ship girls and T-dolls obsolete. Due to them being too expensive to upgrade with the new weapons, they were stripped of weaponry, turned into civilian models and started helping out with service jobs. Jobs like working at their bases as engineers and technicians, to execute repairs on equipment and vehicles.

In 2077, the first International Spaceship Construction Station (ISSCS), named Proxima, was built and sent into orbit around Earth.

8 years later, in 2085, the first interstellar spaceship was constructed on Proxima, with the ability to go as fast as 80% of the speed of light. Using the spaceship and cryo chambers for the crew, people were able to set off and start exploring other solar systems.

Experiments trying to reach or even surpass the speed of light started giving useful results.

In 2089, FTL (Faster Than Light) technology was invented with the capacity to reach 104% of the  speed of light.

Three years later, in 2092, the construction of more spaceships for interstellar travel took place, as well as smaller drones with higher maneuverability, for easier exploration of planets around other stars.

Scientists quickly realized that continuing to create more powerful engines for the spaceships wasn't going to be an easy task. Therefore, in 2093, they continued progress on another project: The Warp Drive.

The Warp Drive is a device which bends space around the ship, creating a Warp Bubble. The Warp Bubble is then propelled through space much faster than the speed of light, and due to the spaceship not actually moving itself, there is no actual maximum speed. The more energy supplied to the device, the faster the Warp Bubble is propelled.

However, due to the Warp Drive requiring massive amounts of energy, scientists started figuring out ways to create artificial wormholes, to be able to teleport between two locations in space in a matter of seconds.

Former T-dolls and ship girls started being assigned jobs in the industry for spaceship construction to speed up the process.

In 2093, battery technology started skyrocketing as electric energy was now the main source of power for most things in the world. The official name is Electric Energy Storage Device, or ESD. But it is still called "Battery" by the public.

In 2099, multiple spaceships and transport spaceships were built. The drones, which were also equipped with Warp Drives, managed to find planets which were rich in minerals and metals, and some planets even had materials which no one had seen before.

In 2100, Wormhole Portals were invented on Proxima. They worked by placing a starting portal and an ending portal, which then get connected to each other via a tunnel through space. Drones started carrying multiple sets of these portals, each.

This accelerated space travel and lead to the discovery of planet Phunia in 2110. A planet located 192 light years from Earth. On the surface, it had red ore deposits. This new material, which was named "Phuranium", had never been seen before and after a drone managed to bring samples from a mountain which was already destroyed, it was discovered that Phuranium had outstanding durability. Nothing could even scratch the sample.

It was soon discovered however, that it had a melting point of 7500 degrees Kelvin, so it was quite easy to melt using a plasma cutter.

Automated drones, equipped with plasma cutters, were sent via a Wormhole Portal to Phunia to collect as much of the material as they could, load it onto a transport ship and send it back to Earth.
